Hi,

I'm currently working on a project for a European Touring Car Cup team in collaboration with STI and Subaru. The project is based on a new concept 2 door WRX STI and I'm at the final stages of the conceptual design stage. I would really appreciate the input of current Subaru owners to ensure the build is as perfect as it can be. Any opinions/suggestions will be considered.

Thanks,

Lee

It does look a bit like the m4 but it also loos like a 2 door coupe wrx sti so I suppose the similarity with the bmw comes from the standard car

BMW M235i is what I'm seeing. Its even got the hofmeister kink on the rear quarter window. It does look good but not Subaru enough for me imho.

Well here's the standard car and a pic someone has edited of what the coupe version for the road might look. There is a few bmw touches such as the lip on the boot lid but you can see where the image has evolved from the current wrx sti

Wotcha and welcome - I said similar things about the Subaru show concept of the WRX so unfortunately - not your fault - I think it is more what you are having to work with as a starting point. That said though when you see it from different angles you should get the Subaru styling. Buuuuut I would def buy one  :)

Please keep us posted as I would like to follow this project ;)

as long as the wheels are no bigger than 18" think it looks great! back end just looks like the BMW M4 as said before but in my opinion thats 100% not a bad thing!  :D
