GeoffLeggy
Phoned Pristine Alloy Wheels Milton Keynes earlier in the week to arrange for a single wheel refurb, told them exactly what I wanted doing, a single wheel refurb in shadow chrome. They said no problem just drop the wheel down and they will sort it, £123.00. Excellent I thought. 40 minute drive first thing in the morning, got there an the guy says cant guarantee a match on this, do you have another wheel! Yes I do have another one but why wasnt I told that on the phone before wasting my time driving all the way here! Complete waste of my time, not happy at all
Sandals
That's quite steep for a single wheel, I'm having all 4 of my wheels completely overhauled and painted (2 day job) and i'm being charged £312 for the lot!
savage bulldogs
I used wheelworx based in Colchester but they can be mobile and I think they've got other branches . Think they charged £260 Inc vat for all 4 tyres off ,rims painted and tyres rebalanced with new valves . I was even cheeky enough to get 2 new tyres delivered to them so they could fit those instead of the old ones . If it's not broke .....upgrade it 😊
GeoffLeggy
Its a 20 inch shadow chrome with a chunk out so not sure if that makes a difference. This is my first refurb experience.

GeoffLeggy
So expensive and poor service? Dodged a bullet there then
Hudson
if it needed welding/repairing along with painting then nothing wrong with the price there for the size of it
