Also check steering joints and might sound daft but when you fitted new disc did you make sure hub was clean and true
Piggysniffer
Just had a thought, I had something like this on my blobeye, turned out the front shock was fubar, had lost some damping/oil, so that you could pull the rod up and down just over an inch without any resistance and it was letting the wheel jump about undamped
DannyM
Got to be wheel balance surely if its slight wobble at 80. I bet your getting someone doing a basic quick balance every time you get them done, when it isn't their car with slight wheel wobble they don't give a monkeys.
Linx
Checked all the linkages and steering. There is a small amount of play on the steering rack but I don't see how this would cause a vibration. Might be causing the slight tramlining I have. The hubs are nice and clean. I haven't actually measured them for straightness. Wheels have definitely had a proper balance by Reinventing The Wheel. You can see the balancing weights are at different distances across the width of the wheels. I will definitely check the shocks. Otherwise I've spent enough on it this year but I'll go for new drive shafts next year. I did have to change the near side wheel bearing at 75k. Probably due to the wobble wearing it. Bearing night and tight in the outer hub and inner hub nice and tight in the bearing. Sent from my HTC Desire 530 using Tapatalk
