  1. Yesterday I found out the car has been stood for so long the fuel lines have perished but the 340lh pump is good 👍. Fuel smelt stale while I was mopping up 🤢
  2. When you changed the steering wheel did you make sure it was centered and the clock spring wasn't moved while the wheel was off
  3. If your having garage do it id let them order parts because if you supply incorrect one and it ties a lift up they may charge for down time
  4. Think I'll put the 43 on this engine id like to take it over 300bhp and the work on a big build 🤔
  5. Hi Tidgy been a while.,hope your doing well. Stock internals at the moment im just thinking of future proofing for when it goes pop. Long way down the line will be fully forged and 6 speed box
  6. So after too many years under cover in the garage the subaru has seen light again, future plan is fit vf43 and 3 port control i would also like to future proof by replacing the 440s with bigger injectors. So the question is is there such thing as too much injector, im looking at 550s 650s or 750s. Opinions great fully received

Cut out the rust to good metal and weld in new
  8. On the uo side I know I can't afford it 😔 on the down side I can't afford it 😪😪😪😪
  9. Brakes pipes are easy to sort, emissions might come down enough if you take it for a good run and get it hot just before its due for testing, the welding can always be sorted just depends how bad it is and how much time and money you want to spend
  10. First thing is note the codes down and then clear them, then see if they come back on, they dont seem to point to a misfire. If you've changed plugs, leads, coil make sure you have firing order correct if so so try compression test
  11. You've done better than me ,I've managed to snap a few, but at least I've not bust the trim but then plan to have it on road this summer has changed a little 😪😪
  12. Getting there and looking good, now you have tell how you got the window trims off so I can remove mine without breaking them 🤔
  13. I've removed this lot And added a bit of colour

It's been a long slow process as it wasn't just the outers, when the sills are finished I'll have used 2 sheets of 3x2 and 1 arch repair panel (thanks savage). But I can now see light at the end of tunnel, just hope it's not train coming 😯
  17. Neil replied to Neil's topic in General Subaru Chat

Had a few more hours of cutting, grinding and welding and thought it would be a good idea to buy a vf43 to replace the td04 😁😁
