Is it just me or are classics becoming noticeably less common?

 

most pics i see of meets now seems to be one or two at most and new members on here always seem to have new age

Think the sad fact is that most are worth more in bits, and the only rust free examples are super expensive 😔

Yeah even the newest classics are 15yrs old , I think tin worm , breaking for spares and being written off has dwindled the numbers [emoji53]

You quite often see good clean classics making better money than wrx bugs or early blobs .

There are less about (been watching for a while now) they do seem to be split between real sheds and very well kept examples with a sizeable price gap in between - literally thousands of pounds - P1's / Type R's now between 7K and 20K

just worth more in bits, if i was to sell my wagon realisitically 2k.... if i broke it 3500 maybe 

though time and effort in breaking i wouldnt bother

 

There is a insurance write off p1 kicking about ive been trying get my hands on for about 18 months
