david1972 Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 I'm still getting just under 30mpg since June....dropped a bit recently due to colder weather but still got 28+ with the last tank.....about 270 miles as a rule but I fill as soon as it gets below 1/4
Seminole81 Posted November 11, 2016 Author Posted November 11, 2016 Something must be wrong with mine then...only working out o 9mpg at current rate and I'm not hammering it! If anything I'm short shifting massively? Maybe that's my mistake?
Seminole81 Posted November 12, 2016 Author Posted November 12, 2016 Another note, are Subaru's supposed to be fairly loud road noise wise inside? Haha. Gearbox creaks and groans a bit at full lock turns, and it sounds a bit creeky when going over speed bumps.

Sandals Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 The suspension top mounts are prone to knocking after a while... in terms of creaking on full lock, power steering belt perhaps?

Is this something that should be looked at? Or is it just noise? That should of been caught on a MOT? From what I've read, it's just the STi transmission, it groans a bit?

RichieT Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 The car looks great. Only one way to check the milage and that is to fill it up and get out there and drive her. Enjoy. 1
