November 25, 20169 yr My old 2006 2.5wrx suffered ring land failure at 60k. Standard car with full service history. I bought it with engine built to my spec in it. He drove it 400 miles after it started running funny and mashed the whole engine.
November 25, 20169 yr Turbo 2000 (X reg) owned for 2 years. Bought at 158k miles and now at 173k. Input shaft seal leak on gearbox likely caused by both age and myself. 2 synchro and 3 bearings replaced at same time due to age related wear.

November 26, 20169 yr My Legacy 2.0 Twin Turbo hasn't ever failed but spent an awful lot of money on prevention! Easily as much as a rebuild 🤔
