Rps Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 How wide can i go wheel wise? Once my car is lowered i want some xxr wheels but i think the start at 8.5j currently im on 7s i think and they look lost
Swino Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Ive got some xxr on my classic there 8.75 wide had to put them arch extensions on as there too wide but there great wheels very very light Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Swino Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 No not hard just making sure there in the same place on both sides and no being scared to drill in to wings lol I hate the look of them tho so working on blending them in and making fiberglass ones :) Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Jay762 Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 get a ruler out and put it against your existing rim to see how far out you want to go then use this link to see what width / offset you need http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator
Rps Posted March 13, 2017 Author Posted March 13, 2017 Cheers mate il deffp do that wed wen its lowered
Swino Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 You can see how much they stick out without the arches over them it's about an inch an half Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Swino Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 It getting a respray soon it's 24 year old and looks it lol didn't fancy trying to match the silver so black was easiest option for them Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Swino Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 I did look at them and the abw super wide kit but after my van got stolen haven't got the money so next best thing make my own :) Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
HoodedLime Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 XXR 8.75 bwith ET35 may just fit inside your arches, you'd probably need to get them rolled but thats it. I have 8.75 ET20 on mine and they were sticking out probably like on that classic above. I also have 15mm spacers and abw arches so all's fine now :)
mattiekane Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 I hope it's the camera that's give your back wheel the odd angle lol Looks well either way!! 👍👍 Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
Hudson Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 I have 18x9.5j et38's and they poke out a little bit but not much, like them as they are, would have to put on 20mm spacers if I was to go down the arch extension route which I have considered but then there is no going back...
