Slightly jerky acceleration at lower revs

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me with this one.

I have a 2006 WRX SL with 67000 miles on the clock, the car is in good condition and has been regularly serviced but im noticing that at low revs the car feels a little bit jerky and almost hesitant during light acceleration but if i floor it the car flies without any problems.

I was thinking this could either be spark plugs/leads or injectors but im only guessing here.

Has anyone else had similar issues and knows how to fix it????

The only time I had something similar was when the throttle cable needed oiling.

I haven't reset the ECU, im not sure this is the way forward as it would be potentially hiding a problem rather than fixing it.

I try to always run it on super unleaded

I would put some redex through a full tank of fuel. Only about a fiver gets you two doses. Should clear any crap in your fuel lines and injectors. Probably the easiest thing to try first...

That was the first thing i tried and it didn't make a difference

Ah ok, plugs would be a reasonably easy thing to check/replace if you're handy with a spanner

I will be able to swap the plugs, although im guessing this isn't a 5 minute job on a flat 4

Unfortunately not since you have to remove the airbox and Battery for access... so around an hour

Have you checked the 3cu for any old codes ?

What I ment was if you reset the ecu and a problem arises it would then show a code if they had been cleared,

Could also be maf or 02 sensor dying

I have not checked for any old codes, I've code an OBD that i use with the torque app on my phone but it only shows current fault codes.

I will have a play this evening and see if it makes any difference.
