Alb
Hi All, Just thought Id introduce myself, me and my wife have had our (her) Forester for about 3 years now and I love it. last week I sold my beloved BMW e36 M3 (sorry) that Id had for years and lavished time, money and love on but as we all know these things come to an end and it was starting to become more and more unreliable and very expensive to maintain. It seemed to just break if you looked at it. I should feel very at home with the Subaru as cover the last few years I have realised that with BMW M tax and Subaru, parts are about as expensive as each other!! Anyway, I bought the Foretster after borrowing My bosses SG9 XT 2.5 for a week and fell in love with it, I ended up going for the 2.0 as at the time I had a 320bhp car and didnt feel the need for the 2.5, hmmmm..... The car is a 2005 2.0 SG5 turbo lowered on Tien coil overs and I put some XXR wheels on it on Friday. Hope you like it, looking forward to being part of the forum, and looking forward to giving 100% of my time to the fozzy :)
stants
Hello & welcome The m & sti taxes are about the same but there's loads of places to get stuff from that are way cheaper than main dealer.Be warned it's addictive, if you haven't already look into changing the rear arb one of the best pound for pound mods out there 🖒Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
stants
Oh a map and a few supporting mods will see you close to 280ish on the standard turbo with increases across the board and slightly better mpg too !Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Alb
Hi Guys, Thanks for all the comments, and stants thank for the advise, very tempting. Always wanted a scoob when I was younger but never had the means to buy/insure. When I got this my efforts were on the M3, so really looking forward to getting it up to standard and enjoying it. With the coilovers and new tyres its a machine!! There are some really nice cars on this forum,
