hi currently own a 2003 impreza wrx running 269bhp, it's got td04 hybrid, full decat, rcm fuel pump, k&n apollo induction kit with a remap. just brought a vf35 and sti injectors to go on and be mapped again. just want to know is there anything else i should get before i map it? aiming for 320ish if possible,thanks 

IMO dependent on miles since last replacement, oil and filter change plus new plugs

oil and filter done within last few weeks, new iridium 7's put in last week

you think i would get to 320ish with what ive got, quite a big jump from 269

sounds about right, turbo will pretty much be the limit of waht it does.

 

where you having it mapped?

aslomng as i get over the 300 i'll be happy but 320 is the aim, will be getting mapped at area52 in kirkby in ashfield. been there twice before and they've been really good

I know you said full decat but does that include the wrx pre cat in the up pipe ?

If not maybe a de cat (sti or aftermarket) up pipe and a tgv delete

TGV is in the aluminum connecting blocks between the intake manifold and thes head x1 each side, they are where the injectors plug into.

Classics or the newage sti doesn't have tgv's but the newage wrx (bug onwards ) does .

They're "tumbler generator valves " supposedly they "tumble" the air fuel mix to create  a cleaner burn , to lower emissions. 

They might work , as the wrx is in a lower emissions category but they do restrict flow and tend to get stuck, causing a eml light and afr ratio fault .

 

ok cheers m8, would you go for the vf34 or 35? im not bothered about top end speed as i live in the country so mainly b roads no motorways or anything like that
