Haha Diz, suppose ill need to change my sig to something more funny now :)

More good news the heads ive bought off eBay are STI items with upgraded Cams  :P all in shiny new status.

Td05 was a steal as well at just £70, the Engine guru popped round to take a look and says it doesnt look like the crank is damaged and that a +1 boring should fix the scuff from the pistons, and now its just a case of decided the pistons to put in it for the power.

With current spec it is now it should come out with 320-340 once remapped which i think is more than enough :)

Watch this space.

Glad to hear your getting a few parts together already and sounds like you had a result with the tdo5.

If you're aiming for 340 my brv s classic has 347 with fmic , tdo5 , gt headers and 440 cc injectors (yellows) .

will admit the injectors are running at 92% (nearly maxxed out) but the tdo5 is only running at 1.2 bar .

as for pistons have a look on the "advance automotive" website as their mahle pistons are reasonably priced , for a quality piston . I'd go for the 500 hp rated ones though as the race spec 750 hp ones iv got are noisy ,even when warm and only quiten down when being spanked hard (ooh err mrs lol)

Martin has said no need to bother with mahle for this spec and instead get them out of a newage STI as there stronger anyways, already had yellows in which was a bonus :) i want to steer away from front mount hence the STI TMIC as i want a sort of sleeper ish car :)

You'll have to make a 'running in' sign save the agony of being baited by knobheads.

How many miles you have to run it in for ?

I'd just make the excuse up to drive it :) And soon cover that mileage mate. just this week I've done over 300 miles without just driving it for the sake of it :D
