BoozyDave
I prefer Tesco's to Shell, not sure if it's placebo, but it just 'feels' better my nearest Shell is 6 miles away (a new petrol station, used to be 9 miles to nearest) but I'd rather go 8 miles to the nearest Tesco's for momentum 99 :)
ScoobySTI
Yes it's good but if you can get 4-5 mpg more from Shell and the mpg outweighs the extra cost I might give it a chance, what you think?
david1972
I try to use Shell standard fuel where I can, but nearest station is circa 12 miles away. Tesco 1 mile away so used that for the first time last tank. Be interesting to see if there's any difference Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
BoozyDave
I get better MPG from Tesco 99, most I've had on a run is 36MPG, best I've had from nitro is 32MPG. and Tesco 99 is 10p a litre cheaper too

Gambit
Yeah they're both Uk car's I can only use the two garages but if I'm at Total it's Total Excellium
Interceptor11
V power here too. Why compromise, that's what mine's mapped for
Gambit
I would if it wasn't a 25 mile round trip to my nearest that I very rarely go past :(
Spuds
It says 95 ron ONLY on the inside of my petrol flap so is v power ok
Gambit
It's a Uk car so it will run happy on that but also wouldn't do any harm putting anything else above that through. And I have to apologise I have been using this petrol station for over 5 years and been saying it;s Total, well infact it Esso -_- I did notice about 3 days ago when I went past but didn't want to say anything :)

Pommy
I filled up with v-power for the first time yesterday and is running much nicer than before. And am getting a loyalty card so make a little back, and will probably start checking MPG. Although my MPG goes down with every car, 50 with the Panda, then 31 with the MX5 and I feel this will be slightly less...
Dogconker
V power here too. Why compromise, that's what mine's mapped for I had a Mazda 323 sport a while back, that was tuned to run on vpower the difference was huge. Only problem was it ran like a bucket of bolts on normal fuel. Definitely worth tuning your car to the fuel if you only intend to use that fuel, you'll get much better response and performance Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
mfnick
I always use V-Power mainly due to the extra cleaning properties they (claim) to put in compared to Tesco.
