Ive heard its to stop feedback through the radio by acting as a separate earth, or so i was told when i fitted mine, whats the noise of it like ?

To be honest I can't hear it over the transmission whine from the new mount.

When I primed it with the hatch off it wasn't too noisy

Getting a wheel bearing sorted next week and my gearbox looked at

!Removed! thing must have been on the way out for a while just assumed the whine I could here was from all the new mounts etc,

Im on the look out for a complete wheel bearing that's built into a hub brand new but all I ever see is leggy bearings.Your gearbox is an easy swap by the way

They are all over ebay on the states about 50 dollars but I'd not like to say how much shipping & tax are.

Been reading that legacy ones from the same year are a better deaign than ours. Dunno if the hubs the same though,

I'm hoping it's just the clutch that's given up with the Increase in torque as it's not going into any gear very well. What's your gearbox code mate ?

Ah ok just been looking into what's what as mine's ty53 seems to be unique to import foz's looks like a 4.44 diff though ? ?
