  1. 305 replies will it make 400
  2. Take a look on ICP. Think they vary from £70-£150 plus. You could log the sensor if you had an OBD bluetooth dongle and that would give you a clue as to weather it is the sensor but that is something i would have to research myself.
  3. https://www.scoobynet.com/general-technical-10/1046991-fault-code-p0134.html It could just be the sensor according to this thread. My money is on sensor. I believe Bank 1 is the side of the engine that has the first piston in the firing order.
  4. Sure I guess the bearing material welded to the actual crank, ouch. Your last statement answers the OP question depends on the damage. Plus as you mentioned the mileage makes sense to do the lot. @andy3665 So if you love the car that much and your planning on keeping it for a long time then do the crank bearings as well as the HG and while your there anything else, oil pump, etc. Only you can make that decision based on the advise of your builder and your circumstances.
  5. Yes I did mean the bearings not the crank itself as you quite rightly say.
  6. Ahh that I am not sure of without looking.
  7. Only if holes are before the sensor. You can get tgv delete kits or modify them yourself. The engine light would then need deleting from the ecu software. None of wish I have done. Delete kits are probably expensive. If there are similiar to a egr valve I bet it is a solenoid seized. No idea if they are serviceable though.
  8. A bit late but does this help: https://scoobyparts.com/blog/subaru-impreza-turbo-exhaust-system-with-diagram/ Yes that is fooking stupid place to put a cat in front of turbo. TGV all they do is work on cold start too pia.
  9. I have to agree with rosscom that you need the code to verify a new cat may cure check light.
  10. Top notch support. Good stuff
  11. How does 2007 Hawkeye WRX work, is that the same. What cat can be removed without MOT failure if any. Can any be removed without a map?
  12. You will get different opinions on crankshaft. Some will say always do crank and others will say depends on inspection. Some well say just forge it but that all depends on budget and skills. Some here think nothing of rebuilding there engine but they also have a normal car and the place and tools. How bad and how long was the headgasket blow? Did the coolant get into the oil if so defo do crankshaft. If the crank lets go after HG then your just burning money. I guess your in the hands of the engine builder's recommendations. Hope it works out for you.
  13. Exhaust is not that tricky but i would take Stuartie advise.
  14. If staying standard as RossCosm says find one a breakers if time allows. If going aftermarket (for more power) then it gets expensive due to the map being needed. Need to plan this type of stuff but of course that not so easy sometimes. How comes it took all day to see some holes?
  15. Cold Air intake
  16. Well the money you have saved from not buying a CAI that would make no or little power difference. Exhaust parts can give you more hp and make the turbo spool quicker. Also sounds better too. Good luck
  17. I am hoping no news is good news and you are out blasting down the lanes enjoying it.
  18. If the port is not active then no it would not scan. It would do nothing.
  19. Check your fuses. The OBD port can share the same fuse as the cigarette lighter for example.
  20. TBH no idea but I bet it is just the reader.
  21. Bummer. I think Halfords will read them for a cost.
  22. Do you have an option to clear codes? I guess not if there aren't any. Is there any pending codes stored. These are codes that have been triggered but not enough to put the check engine light on?
  23. SCANNER!!!!!??????? I am all in now taking this journey with you. You must post back and any cure or these 200 replies are meaningless
  24. mines 16 now so she is just expensive and only the one. Taxi service now too. Sounds like you have multiple young ones ouch.
  25. This guy is getting great support only Microsoft could dream of.
