  1. Thought you lot would appreciate this video
  2. First up is a set of 17" wheels off my classic, they are in generally good condition with some curbing on the edges, 2 tyres are cracked and need replacing the others seem ok although I would recommend replacing them all. They have 'Lightweight Racing' written on them and they did seem very light to me. £150 collected or postage paid by buyer. Located Bradford Secondly are a set of braided brake lines in transparent blue, they are SWRD which is the same brand as the discs I had on mine and was very impressed with. Unopened and in box, cost me £75 so looking for £70 delivered. Comment or message me for more details
  3. Wow, that is extrodinarily high. I'm 23 and I paid less than £1k for fully comp on a turbo 2000 saloon. Not sure why it is so high, send a message to Dan Adrian Flux on here and see what he says.
  4. Yeah I understand that I have probably priced it a bit high because I don't really want to sell it. What would you guys think it is worth? And I know without the wing it is worth less. Don't be afraid of hurting my feelings the more honest the better really. Looking at a mx5 tomorrow. So that might be an option. At least it is still a Jap.
  5. Hey Matt, appreciate the offer but not really my thing I have to admit. And Ash I will be staying around, hopefully even attend some meets with Subaru guys, friendliest forum by far. Think I have found a reasonable swap elsewhere but deffo open to offers still.
  6. Well due to unforseen circumstances i am unfortunately having to look into selling my subaru and get something cheaper. The car has 147,000 miles on the clock with a full history up until I Bought it less than a year ago, in which time I have completed another oil and plug service. I have fixed all the issues that came with the car by replacing the fuel filler neck which was leaking due to corrosion (common issue), replaced the steering wheel with a standard one and replace the clock spring so the airbag and horn work, I had the rocker gaskets replaced by Richard Henry (both sides were leaking a little), I also replaced both front calipers along with new grooved discs and pads due to the calipers sticking. The car comes with standard wheels with 4 toyo proxes all with good tread on. The car runs out of tax at the end of the month but i will be putting a full six months on it. the MOT runs out next month but see no reason as to why it wouldn't pass and am taking this into account in the price. I have also removed the rear spoiler as I prefer it without, however the spoiler will come with the car and will be easy to re apply, this is also taken into account in the price. It also has a turbo timer, and pod filter although i still have the original airbox with a K&N panel filter which I can include in the sale. Bad points are a tiny bit of bubbling on the drivers rear arch, and I do mean only a little bit. Looking for £1,800 but am open to offers. Or a p/x preferably something rear wheel drive but could be tempted by other cars, just ask me. Comment below or send me a pm to find out more. And the 17" wheels in some pictures can be included for the right price but do need new tyres. I will take more pictures when I can, the above pictures are as the car is now and the one's below are what it was with the 17" wheels and the spoiler. Thanks for looking, pm or comment any questions
  7. New

Glad to see, will get some info on mine up when I have it installed.
  8. Started modifying the radio facia for my tablet install. Nearly fitted the tablet, need to get that done and then get the head unit in the bottom and tidy it up nicely so a bit of work to do yet.
  9. Hey mate, glad you are excited for the car and have finally got it. And welcome to the club, get pictures up once you get it. And get involved in the forums, plenty going on.
  10. It is a pity about prodrive and lack of anything from Subaru UK. But will still be really good to watch.
  11. I know some aren't mappable and I remember reading the same when buying mine which is part of the reason I went for a W plate. And I believe you do have to get a daughterboard installed which is why lots of people replace it with a different mappable ECU. Heard good things about both apexi and alcatek. Might be worth starting a separate thread about it in the Impreza area.
  12. Not sure about the ECU mapping capabilities myself but I believe that a re-map will be the best with a decat otherwise you could face problems in the future. But I'm sure someone with more knowledge will come along soon enough
  13. Welcome mate, To upload pics the easiest way is to use photobucket or another hosting site and then embed them. Or you can upload them as attachments. Looking forward to seeing the car
  14. Really upset I couldn't make the meet, looks good. Hope to make it to one soon:)
  15. I had similar issue and turned out to be the spark plugs. Worth checking
  16. Not sure mate sorry
  17. Thanks Ash, that's good info, thanks for sharing. Think I will go for the 260ish BHP, seems easy enough and not overly painful on the wallet. I would definitely suggest 4-pots and uprated hoses as the first upgrade.
  18. Yeah measure the internal and external diameter at either end to make sure they are the same, then find pipes with the same diameter.
  19. Hey mate, don't think there are may ways to get more power without a re-map, which if it hasn't been mapped before you can either buy a license for it to be re-mapped or a new ecu, similar prices and around 4-500 from what I have read but there are many different threads on that. The general consensous is uprated fuel pumps, injectors decat and then a remap for 300-330ish which is meant to be pleanty in a classic. If running a decat I believe it should already have a map on it to make it run properly (not 100% sure but worth looking into it) there is a guy on here offering remote ECU tuning using your laptop and some of his software, xtremeracingtuning (member on here) I believe it is, never used them or anything but might be worth finding him and chatting to him. His website is xtremeracingtuning.com but again never used him so have no idea about his quality or anything like that.
  20. Yes mate the more the merrier, I would be coming myself but have my first exam the next day, Stanton500 is the other regional co-ordinator for our area and will be there with some other members and no doubt meet you there or just before some where, sure they will be around soon.
  21. Hey mate and welcome to the club, I have turbo 2000 as well and they are a great car, lots of options with tuning and parts relatively cheap and available second hand. Most important thing is to service the car with good oil and spark plugs regularly. The engines generally keep going when that happens. Get stuck in with the forums, cars and more.
  22. Still up for swaps, offers welcome
  23. Had the wheels lifted today and had a very good shake of both sides and absolutely no play in any direction, had a look at the cv joints and the boots both seem in perfect condition but didn't take them off to have a look. Only thing that looks broken are the steering rack boots so hopefully it will be them. Will be changing them a week Saturday so hopefully that fixes the problem.
  24. I have to say I do like the R-35 and 350, very nice. Looks like a good meet.
