up pipes, get these out and will give you a nice roar :) resonators only effect how deep the tone is, i have one in mine and its loud :) get stainless downpipe and centre section, o well look at that i have them for sale ;)

the problem your going to have with getting an engine from a breakers is, why is it in there in the first place, you dont know the condition till its too late, dont cut corners and replace it all yourself and then it will last well over into the 100k, ive just had to bite the bullet with mine and now it outperforms similar cars. its worth refreshing yours mate.

they lost there way after 2001, stupid emission laws and the budget crisis have shifted most car companies to make these saloon business going crap cars. they shifted the market from enthusiasts to motorway and business users, and as such lost not only the aggressive looks of the car but performance. how can ford get over 250 from a 1.6 yet the rally kings subaru cant get much over 300 with an extra 600cc.

Dump valves are must if your planning on running any sort of power, otherwise the life of your turbo will greatly suffer, mine is running over 350bhp with a dv and is absolutely fine. Welcome :)

if its closed deck it will have an etching mark on the front near to the alternator, if it doesnt have this it isnt a CDB

It's mental mate, Simon said it's very rare for the vf30 to get that much power, but it's down to the Compression my engine makes and it seems to love methanol lol :) my mpg seems to have suffered since the 2.5k is no longer a factor. But my new graph of smiles to mpg is great haha.

I totally forgot about the weekend :) it was a very very slow drive back ;) Anti lag never went on and the earths atmosphere definitely did not suffer :)

Haha give over :) mine didnt go above 2.5k till today and hit a steady 7.5k lol Weekend is a good shout as most people work in the week.

The day hath Arived and you shall all be shaaaved .... I mean saved. Well the day has come to a close and all i can say is wow. 1366 miles at 2.5k has taken the most upmost patience but it has been totally worth it, 8 months of solid saving and been skint. well im bored and no one cares soooo power 328bhp/290Lb Torque on Vpower 350BHP/315 Lb torque On 20% Meth Now at the start of the day i was told my turbo would be lucky to get over the 310 mark due to the rollers always showing the car down on power usually 15bhp + out, So the figures really do speak for themselves, all i can Say is a massive thankyou to Martin at Sheffield Subaru Services for the help all the way through the build. For anyone thinking of going aftermarket ECU, for the money Alcatek is awsome, i have 2 Fuel maps that are switchable, Launch Control and ANTI lag ( non aggressive ) The car responds amazing and the power is remarkable,it straight pins you back into the seat before rocketing off to license taking speeds.
