Savage if it's a classic you have the 48 is no good for yours at all due to it been suited for the 2.5, you would be better with the 30 like I have or 34-35
  3. As above, not sure if its already up but here is every code. tried to copy it but doesnt all come across. http://www.uniquecarsandparts.com.au/colour_codes_subaru.htm
  4. it will be alot less heartache just to get the same one, as the WRX and the classic STI gearboxs are basically same, the boxes only get stronger on the 6 speed STI's
  5. my turbo 2000 runs an induction kit and so did my bug eye, Maf sensors are sometimes prone to failing, happened to a few mates but these happened on saxos. I for one love the sound of the induction roar.
  6. well !Removed! hell, i shall inform the town mayor.
  7. use photobucket. and tbh i would say you would need a better write up as well, seen as its a special edition subaru, how long have you had it, how many keepers has it had ?
  8. I would love to :) if im not busy i shall be there ;)
  9. if you take one of the Rubber fuel lines off the inlet mani under the bonnet, it will have pressure and fuel in it in the pump is priming. check all the fuses under the dash as well.
  10. As Savage said. :) Did your engine rebuilder not tell you this when the pistons went in ?
  11. date is now confirmed as the 18th September.
  12. seems 6-5 is most popular on various sites and some use 4-3 for a more comfortable ride. makes sense as guy i was speaking to uses his for alot of track.
  13. http://bbs.scoobynet.com/suspension-12/924270-coilover-spring-rates.html check that link stanton, I stand corrected.
  14. Sigma alarm would stop it, you wouldnt see the immobilizer light go off on the dash if it was the alarm though.
  15. have your pistons been run in ? if so id go straight to 10 50
  16. Haha sorry mate ;)
  17. speaking with some of the scooby lads on monday they reckon 8 is the best overall
  18. im using 10 40 for the 1000 mile run in then switching to millers 10 50 for the foreseeable
  19. Hmmm im at japfest this weekend so ill see if i can get a goodie bag put together :)
  20. 5 30 is way to low for forged pistons. this could be your issue, im bedding in on 10 40 and moving up to 10 50
  21. OOOO new parts :) will look awsome nick cant wait to see it at the next meet. Spoken to JGM about getting a ecu fitted and possibly allowing me to run meth :P
  22. which is better >? and which sealant would i use ??
  23. The time Hathe Cometh. Spoken to JGM today about fitting and mapping a Alcatek Ecu to the Subaru, this will be taking place at Martins Sheffield Subaru Services. The date is still unconfirmed yet however it will take place the week of September 15th. Basically if anyone is going to need remapping etc im trying to work a deal where we can get discount if there is a few of us. For obvious reasons only post if you are serious about getting a remap etc. If anyone is looking at an ECU the alcatek is great, allows multiple fuel maps ( Meth etc) and you can have launch and anti lag. :) Please post if your interested and ill get in touch with him.
  24. +1 mine do however mine are exceptionally quiet for forged units, What oil are you using ?
  25. Ive been looking at dodo juice, but Ive no idea which sets etc. Heard great things about Poorboys as well, but again which do i get ? Ive not had a problem with Autoglym or Megiuars however, ive got friends that have had great results using other waxes, so i think its time i looked further a field :)
