  1. Thats what I mean sorry we're not all perfect and it's always the bad things we experience from other road user's we remember. Same in some respects if you use a shop and the experience is bad or a restaurant. Ive only had two lorry drives do something to oiss me off touch wood lol. Country side cyclists seem to be the worst breed I face them every day lol and in the city. Just annoying when they don't use the safety features provided and helps keep the flow of traffic flowing. And in the country riding side by side or like the other day 4 side by side is putting their lives in danger. But I agree gone off track in true S.O.C style [emoji6] my vote subaru drives should be tax exempt lol
  2. Might be better rining them he replied to one message I sent then not to another one so I rang up but was sold. But fingers crossed for you mate. Only other thing is to get a local wheel furbished place to do them. I know the UK300 I have has a flat spot on it and leaks air out slowly I'll be doing them at some point.
  3. No worries mate what we're here for never like to hear of a injured breve rin on the roads [emoji6] other thing to try is get a spray bottle with engine running spray the air intake sections joints and pipes listen for any change in the revs. I don't think it will be the air intake scoop doing it I know which part you mean. Id have thought it would only maybe a problem once it was fully warm and taking in too much heat.
  4. I don't have a problem with cyclists it's just the few. Like drivers, taxi drivers, and lorry drivers I guess that **** me off. And are always the ones that you remember :D It's the swerving out or cutting lights or like the other day 4 abreast (hmmmm breast) And when they have a designated cycle lane but don't use it then slow traffic up for what I can only guess is to feel some sort of sense of pride :)
  5. I'd be tempted to try a standard one on it 1st if you can get your hands on one see if it improves it. Be best if you have a friend that has one to try 1st I'm guessing you won't be close to me as I have one in the garage we could have tested it out for a week. but 48k could be a clutch issue but I'm guessing you know how a clutch slip feels. But the Blobeye/Newage did have a few known issues with this happening with no real cure. throttle body might need a clean worth giving the butterfly a quick spray and a scrub with a toothbrush. What about the induction kit has that been added or is it still an air filter in the box ?
  6. I'm sure that would work out cheaper for me in the long run but I do clock up some miles I love driving :D But the fat cats cutting some of the duty on fuel out of the 4 different taxes it has already would be nice. And as you rightly said it's not road tax anymore to make the Sickerlists feel better about being able to ride on the roads jump lights and just basically make the roads that little bit more dangerous in an already congested world. The prick Camron hoping that it will make it easier to sell the roads to private business then charge us to use roads Feel a rant coming on ;) lol
  7. Bit late but would like to welcome Tom and Steve to the Moderator's team :D
  8. Mines due at the end of the month still think it's all !Removed! myself :D just giving money away for the sake of it :)
  9. T-shirt and Dog playing as a female only reason I want to get on :D
  10. Hi Lee sorry about the late reply very unlike us here to do that or at least not acknowledge the post :) The rev's going up could be a well worn clutch slipping. Does it have a dump valve on ? Possible your car's engine doesn't like the dump valve :)
  11. Mines home hub 3 I'll be on the phone tomorrow to them had enough of it. For what I pay is a joke.
  12. Ohhh its on its way. Cold enough here to snow but no sign of it at the moment. Mind you it can hold off until Tuesday I've got to go to Sunderland. Don't fancy it in the snow.
  13. I'll try in a few but kids are using it to with !Removed! Skype and youtube or anything else they can find to **** me off [emoji20]
  14. We've all been there mate I had a 1.6 escort and was always wanting gti or a cosworth. By about 26 had the bugeye and loved it still have it now. Bearing in mind was cheaper then on insurance wasn't anywhere how hard it is now for new drivers. And good starting point to learn from ready to step up on the turbos too. [emoji106] But as I said anything you can reduce the weight will be key for more power. [emoji6] but also will help the handling and modifications and braking in turn meaning more speed on corners. But thats to encourage you to speed of course [emoji6] we don't do things like that. [emoji2]
  15. Winter climbing making me feel cold thinking about it lol.
  16. Same as Pete I'm not sure either. I'm going for reliable [emoji6]
  17. Sounds good to me does it feel any better to drive.
  18. Each to their own I will always say that I don't judge peoples choices I don't think they look bad withouy them either just like the more full looking bumper [emoji2]
  19. Really only real things you can do is weight reduction and focus on brakes and handling to make it quick. Remaps can improve it too with some mods but not get a lot from it. Maybe 30+ bhp if you're lucky and not a cheap option for that little amount of gains [emoji20] and to get a turbo charge engine to swap isnt cheap or easy either [emoji20] But the car looks nice mate. And for a 1st car I think it's an excellent choice wish my 1st car was as good [emoji2] and like that you had to show your brother what a real car is over the evo [emoji23]
  20. I'd have had white blue or black. But if it meant I got it early I'd have done it too [emoji6]
  21. My lad gets on with the 360 just not sure why I can't butvwill try again later
  22. Ouch. As for the gx not sure but to be fair I'll never understand how insurance choose their pricing for customers. Could have a chat with Dan from Adrian flux on here should get a discount too. But again can be hit and miss like any other insurance.
  23. I will play through again for sure [emoji2] as for online just hope bt pull thevfinger out their !Removed!. But because I'm so far out I'm not cost effective enough to make do much to help me [emoji20]
  24. I'm the same as jay and im sure the workshop says to bleed them of set but if your just doing thr fronts and have rubber hoses still just use some mole grips too close the hose off remove the caliper should have to bleed it all then unless you drain it. And wanted to put fresh stuff in.
  25. Like tlags post pmsl [emoji23] no worries mate
