  1. Oh ok so the smiles lasting years is better aimed towards you :)
  2. No worries mate enjoy the drive back home. Just be warned does take a few weeks months sometimes years to remove the smile :)
  3. I think the Vf22 allows more room for upgrades. I'm only going on what I have read on here :)
  4. Oh right I think they sit at the side of the intercooler on the passenger side but if anyones upgraded the TMIC to a new age then it would. If you can get a picture uploaded mate should be able to see it and check which TMIC it has. :)
  5. Got back today checked the mail and found Scotty had sent me the part I ballsed up had been sent to me and this little gift was with it :D picture doesn't do it justice really but it's domed badge
  6. Yeah make a new thread mate it's fine. And look forward to seeing her in action :D
  7. I'm not fully clued up on turbos if I'm being honest more so with the classic but people seem to upgrade to the vf22 over the TD04. It's like mine I know I have a bigger td05 in mine and it does turbo lag bad unless you already have it spooled or launch it from 1st then it's big smiles :D
  8. Blob about 78k Bugeye has about 113k but had a full rebuild and rough guess would leave it at about 70k plus
  9. Yeah I would say it's better I believe the TD04 my spool up quicker. But get better bang for buck off the Vf22. Stock Turbo 360CFM at 14.7PSI AVO 320HP 429CFM at 17.5PSI IHI VF-22 435CFM at 18.0PSI Small 16G 505CFM at 14.7PSI Large 16G 550CFM at 14.7PSI AVO 400HP 572CFM at 17.5PSI 18G 600CFM at 14.7PSI 20G 650CFM at 14.7PSI AVO 450HP 630CFM at 20.0PSI AVO 500HP 740CFM at 23.0PSI
  10. Nice just need a few from here to get names down :)
  11. Very nice glad to hear you sorted it. And massive thanks to Tlag and Savage for taking the time to reply :) So once it's been ran it and you get your first joy ride you going to share any video footage ;)
  12. I've always said the HKS are the best for noise I have baileys I wouldn't say it was loud I just like the noise it makes doesn't go off unless it has a lot of load on the car so through town it's pretty subtle. I would recommend maybe having a look on Youtube you might be able to find the right noise for you by looking at some of the videos :) And this is where you fit it it's not the same as a newage Hope it helps :)
  13. Damn good job mate crazy how bad they get under the spoilers I'm still to look under mine I dread to think how bad it is.
  14. Nice one mate glad to hear it's been sorted for you mate, now no more french car all should be right with the world ;)
  15. Sounds a brilliant place to me, if you get some interest on here and a time and date sorted out will get it on facebook for you too on the S.O.C page.
  16. You have to come to Japfest 2 ;) The roof scoop even though I don't mind them wouldn't have been my choice but was bought it as a gift and would have felt bad if I didn't fit it, but I had the full WRC decals on at the time so was not to bad. And the clear side repeaters was one of the 1st things I changed not a fan of orange :D
  17. The Cosworth I don't think you can go wrong with well established and seems to be the one of choice as a panel filter by most.
  18. Sounds like a good chance to meet up with local members and get chance to see the new car :D
  19. Gambit replied to Gambit's topic in Car Shows
  20. Keep us updated I will see I can redirect either of the two here see if they know. There is Martin who owns Sheffield Subaru Services on here too who's excellent with Subaru engines might be worth giving him a ring if he's not too busy I'm sure he will be happy to advise if he can.
  21. As Ian has said for me more importantly is to meet new people with the same interets. even if it's hard core modding to the low side of just upgrading a stereo and keeping the rest standard. I like to see both and meet the people behind both. But most of all enjoy the day with good company, I've not met Ian yet but already feel like I know him and look forwrd to meeting him and Pete and everyone else I don't want to leave anyone out :D
  22. Oh hell I can see me and you matt will get along just fine :) my way of thinking
  23. Hi mate welcome to the forum/ S.O.C Looking at the list you have put and mods you've listed I would say you know the good points to add to a Scoobie. I will gracefully like a ballerina with no rhythm. Not answer as I'm not sure and leave this to one of the members like Tlag or Savage that do builds to hopefully answer ;) HEEEEELP!!! :D
  24. Oh that is nice mate. I like it a lot ;)
  25. I'm sure we won't mind it's all about the taking part if you can make it :D
