  1. I totally forgot to have a look yesterday. I will try again today :D
  2. I knew it wouldn't gain more power from it without the remap. :( I think we need to start to get some people smuggling Japanese fuels into the country :D
  3. Yeah I know what you mean. My bugeye came with the spoiler so never moved that not once. The blobeye has had the spoiler on for 3 years now I think it is and not fallen off and looks exactly the same as that apart from I got it from fleebay as it was already sprayed the same colour as the car.
  4. I always thought the ECU would learn with the fuel in modern cars.
  5. Looks good I know stanton500 when he was looking just got an impreza one and it fitted fine.
  6. that look's exactly the same as I have I think they say that to cover their own back or some sealant to cover the holes I know I used some silicone just incase to stop and water if it manages to get under.
  7. It is possible by all means to be the Thermostat it gets too hot the water has to blow out from somewhere. I think a mixture of a badly plumbed in rad and the faulty thermostat air locks has been the problem. But as said you never really can tell but so far everything is pointing to a positive engine :)
  8. Well Seeing as you are having problems with the coolant and there is no signs of exhaust gasses I would look at that as you are at least 80% clear mate ;)
  9. I can't remember how I wired mine then I know I wired it to something to keep it running. I like Savages idea with the alarm I did wonder if that is possible.
  10. Very nice love it I want a big boy's toy like that :) I don't live far from cadwell been a couple of time's myself around the track. and a few times just for a drive to spectate if I just want to have a drive out somewhere
  11. Nice one least its getting sorted mate and must be a big weight off your mind
  12. Yeah you do but I'm guilty of not doing that to others disapproval :D just the earth wire did it if I remember correctly
  13. I've always liked the black and silver look at it on 2 of my older cars. Good list to keep you busy. Any picks of the track car ?
  14. I agree does look pretty smart like the black alloy's too :)
  15. I have one I like it ideal for just popping in the shop or picking the kids up from school :)
  16. Maybe just a bit of crap burning off that had built up or the ECU getting used to the V-Power fuel change if the previous owners was running it on 95ron But main thing it's ran fine just have to see how it goes and keep an eye on if it was cold or hot on the day.
  17. Seen plenty more with higher mileage from new. think a lot of it is how well it's been looked after :)
  18. No grammar police on here mate. I'm worlds worse for it anyway, thats why I added it in the rules to cover myself ;)
  19. Wow there is a lot. Next time the blokes here in his Hawkeye STI I'm going to have a look at his. Well what I would suggest if you are getting just a spoiler of fleebay ask them to count the holes, as you might not need to mess about with the bootlid too much the one I got just used the WRX holes. But a genuine STI as pointed out does have more holes :) Another new thing learned :D
  20. Thats what I would have said if I was going to Thailand on my own too ;)
  21. If life has taught me, anything is possible. The Sniff test should prove if it is or isn't. But you managed to run it with only a water leak today. Thats a good thing with no over heating issue
  22. Tell you what Ash meet me halfway call it a tenner for you + Postage ;)
  23. Be worth maybe sorting this out great event.
  24. Hey I just want to point out I never said what it was I just knew whereabouts it was ;)
