  1. Mine just bolted straight on the same holes :)
  2. I do the same but always need to gear down to 3rd if traffic is starting to move again so wouldn't have thought it would be driving in a higher gear I would imagine a lot of us do that to try penny pinch some fuel saving :)
  3. I'm sure you will be fine mate. And if you get stuck plenty of people on here that will try help best they can :)
  4. Hi Mel You sure it's the tappets ? the cambelt tensioner sounds the same skip to 4 minutes 30 seconds can hear it
  5. Not sure mate strange it only happens from cold start and clears up I normally find it's the other way round with these sort's of issues.
  6. Love the sig :)
  7. No problem :) Hope you find one soon as you can tell I didn't like the WRX spoiler either :)
  8. No should be a straight swap mate. The one on the Blobeye was about £290 with postage I got from Fleebay though so don't come cheap.
  9. Look's spot on mate real nice job. I think it's made the bay look real clean and crisp.
  10. Absolute bargain :)
  11. Where I would agree with the above answer ;) I think you could maybe change the struts or whatever they are called or just lift it slower :)
  12. I found it easy enough in both cars depends how confident you are I guess :)
  13. Yeah could do both mate I would say cost start to finish it cost me around £250 but thats just the pc parts and the screen with cables and a wifi dongle. I'm still looking at getting a perspex case made up too. But thats about the basic cost to get it in and running.
  14. I like the spoilers more on the Scoobs myself :)
  15. I had to read it twice too thought the same as you ;)
  16. Just fit a full PC like I did with a touchscreen :)
  17. Scoobyclinc seems to have built a bad reputation for things of late inc two members on here. I've never used them myself so don't speak from personal experience. But I've know that to be offered more for the 06 2.5 ltr engines when having the head gasket done, only advice I would give either MD Performance or Martin at Sheffield Subaru Services a ring Martins spot on and not much more of a drive. MD Performance might be a bit closer.
  18. Nice job mate :)
  19. A lot of the 08 onwards cars suffered with it Subaru called a few back to be done under warranty. I know Scooby Petes mate had a problem with his not sure what happened with it in the end. but with your's having Cosworth touch it I would have thought that would have been sorted
  20. Falkens would get my vote if budget goes that far but I have ran on Kumho's before and found them to be a nice tyre not noisy I think the 40's will save you money as it's more common tyre I've got 35s on mine and it costs about £20 more each corner
  21. I had to look at the name and double take I thought a up I'm sure you have been here for awhile now :D I thought it was a new member asking ;) And Cosworth enough said ;) I doubt be much more than what you have now as said before. But Photo will be a must so thats a warning ;)
  22. Yep that has BoofleGem written all over it :D looking good buddy
  23. Both cars in the garage are newage mate so no good for me I would say the lights could go from as little as £150 up to £250 I know some people on Fleebay try putting them on for £400+ their dream or very lucky to sell at that price by someone desperate. Again bonnet can differ if it's the lightweight version that is super rare and pretty sort after price would go up. But would be surprised if it is but wouldn't be the 1st time I'd seen one on a GL
  24. No worries. Way it goes when breaking cars mate. I do the same I will ask questions and shop around unless it's a unique part that are hard to find.
  25. :D yep. Well gave mine a clean both have a nice shine now :)
