  1. Try that you never know might be able to narrow it down ;)
  2. MDF bonnet scoop perfect replica ;)
  3. I would just check all the turbo's pipe work make sure there is no splits or come lose. And also have a look at what Tlag said about the wires and the self diagnostic thingamabob that the classics have. Will link it in a second once I find it :D
  4. No it's fine mate. you could do me a favour though ;) If you get time and have a look in the sales section for parts and see if you can see any posts in there should be 8 or 9. I can see them but had a few members say they can't see anything in there like there hidden :(
  5. You're more then welcome and if you need to know anything else please feel free ;) we hang about here like a teenager outside a corner shop with a bottle of cider :)
  6. Have you put a bigger turbo in ? I would have thought bigger turbo and not been remapped to suit But could be solenoid on it's way out.
  7. Good luck with the sale mate we do have a sale's section but think there is a problem with people not seeing thing's posted again so will leave it here. :)
  8. Jay said what I should have said :) I have a problem I know what I mean in my head but nobody else does ;)
  9. I think the 1st picture is justifiable ;) And spot on job of the boot area. I did have a look again about that induction and I can't see how it can fit looking at the kits on ebay it looks like it should have the long pipe but just bolt on I will try look for some destructions
  10. You're welcome and keep us updated with what you choose and any pictures are great we do like our car !Removed! pictures here :D
  11. Nice choice of car have a few members with them. And for anything else I would just look more in to the body and interior a bit more check the sills of the door's on the inside just for the age of the car but most of them I would say have either been looked after or will be a rotter. Just make sure you get to drive it or get them to drive it while it warm's up listen to the gears make sure they don't try to miss a gear They do rattle a bit subarus and make noise more then any other car I've had but you will pick up on anything that sounds really bad. Think that's it mate :D
  12. Ohhhhhh...arrrrrrhhhh sounds the same in any language ;)
  13. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C And as Jay said really Bilstein would be my 1st choice :)
  14. Good luck I'm sure it will go fine. Only tip's I can give is measure it and then again maybe a third time just to be safe puff out the cheeks then attack :D
  15. Yep agree very nice. And don't worry it's not trying to kill you it's like a fine lady letting you find your limits ;) But if it was the M3 I would agree it was always just sat watching me waiting for the right time like a predatory wild animal, and then it would just pounce and spin me :D But in the scooby it's yep I just made that look good ;)
  16. Seems to be a bit of a common fault with people trying lots of things to fix it :( does it happen after along drive when its warm ? Seems that it's a heat issue But seem's what has worked for most people is an oil and filter change All the other thing's seem to be sensors that are on the way out but not bad enough to bring codes up yet
  17. Sound's like some really nice subtle mods. I think it's amazing how just getting the orange side indicators changed can make it look better on it's own. Hope you have a great holiday too never been so couldn't advise anywhere to go :)
  18. Hi mate thanks for replying It's near the foot pedals under the steering wheel normally but if your's is an 02 it will be good old OBDII so it wont help what we was trying to find out but thanks anyway mate much appreciated
  19. I've turned my passenger side one into a multi colour disco :D will sort a video out some time ;)
  20. Does it come complete with lady for final photo shoot ;)
  21. I know the 22b is rare I still think you will be able to use the same part off another car the same year but I'm not 100% sure. Maybe one of the other members might be able to confirm it maybe not bit of a gamble. And I didn't understand what you meant that it wasn't on the car. And I agree main dealers will have the same problem you have and they wont want to get the wrong part so will more then likely say they can't. Tlag might know as he build's Subaru's or MD Peformance
  22. I think the best thing to do really is ring around like insurance the local tyre fitters and get quotes then ring them back saying you got cheaper and match them off. I got a great deal when I did all four laser tracking and nitrogen filled instead of air :D But failing that there is some online places you could order them in yourself and then take them to a garage to have them fitted but sometimes works out more unless you know them :( http://www.mytyres.co.uk/ there is other's you can look at online too for the best deal Again always try fleebay they sell new tyres in deals on there too
  23. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C You should be able to order one from any Subaru dealer. Or I would have thought they would be the same as all the others just make sure it fit's the year of the car. So should be able to order one from any auto parts store just by giving them the reg of the car. They should be able to find the right part for the car might take a day or 2 :) Also try Fleebay :) http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw=CV+Boot+for+a+22B+Impreza&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.XCV+Boot+for+a+Impreza&_nkw=CV+Boot+for+a+Impreza&_sacat=0 Hope you get it sorted soon mate And if it's for an MOT if you use tape around it to hide the split an MOT tester told me they are not allowed to remove it and fail it. Because they cant see the split. So if they do there in the wrong. But I would rather have one changed :)
