It looks very nice I can't hide that. It's the RWD fun cars but after an AWD I can't see how it will ever be a good car. Other then for a track day toy :) And even then your never going to beat lap times if my old m3 was anything to go by.

I would always have Manuel myself auto I'm sure is nice for long drives but I like to control the car. And if you change the gearbox oil it jumps up a lot :o

Well there is always buyers for these car's in any condition so that's a good thing I guess. The parts off the car again will be worth more then the car. :( But I really don't want to say you should do this or that.

I have the same problem normally Audi drivers ;) (Yes my hate towards them rages on) You will get it all the time mate, there is something about a scoob that people just think you want to race, they will come from 2 miles behind when your just cruising along get right up your !Removed! trying to push you. ( you will see what I mean the more you watch) Had everything from Golfs saxos Civics BMW any **** series even Vans -_- But Audi seem to be worse for it A3 biggest one. I have even had an oldish chap at a round about even though I had right of way try pushing in on me he wouldn't give me an inch but I just kept going I honked my horn he did the same back, and I slowed down I nearly got out the car as it comes on to some traffic lights, the lights was just about to change booosh! I shot through and left the **** not making it through :) My Mrs said he was ****** signing me. And even she couldn't believe what a bell end he was being. My stories go on past that one I have started to lose count. I just forget them and move on most of it is jealousy. I even try to drive nice and let people out and so on. Anyway did you see Scunny on TV last night SKINT ?

Yeah I didn't know that until I was speaking to another bloke who was not sure if to or not then said it needed a new bootlid not just a spoiler :) I did say about making it stronger himself but he had 7 years warranty or something left :) But worth the extra cost IMO :)

Is that how yours sounded before it went ? I have only ever heard them once it had gone :( but thought be sort of sound like that but all the time

I would say there right mate or it's to much hard work for what they have to do to chip it 1st. I know there is loads of after market ECU on ebay you could always buy one from there and get it remapped if it works out a bit cheaper :)

What a strange noise. Almost sound like the playing card in a bike's spokes. Might be just the video and the wind. I take it you have had a look at the belts and pulley wheels ? I'm maybe going to go with one is wobbling about under load.

I'm not to sure with the engine swap myself mate maybe few of the other's might be able to give you some info Bip's knowledgeable with that sort of thing he might be able to help if he pops on later :)
