  1. I bought a white car didn't I? [emoji22] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I agree, a very unlikely pairing but works superbly in my opinion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Just cleaned two XVs, no need to wax as it turns out as a quick buff with a Terry towel and it shined up lovely. Just need to black the tyres now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Looks nice [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah, I'd agree out of context that profile picture is a little odd. Mind I'm not sure in what context it wouldn't be [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I like this thread, however much you like music, someone posts something you've never heard that you love. Emma Hewitt has been my big find on here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. here's another from todays sunny drive playlist.
  8. loved this, though think this ought to be a guilty pleasure. this is what I was banging out today back from Manchester, could have gone down M6, but took scenic route, sunny day, open road, loud rock . . . . . oh yeah
  9. Mines covered in bugs and crap so I've got next week off, I can feel a clay day coming [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Just done a round trip of 350 miles to South Wales saw loads of Subarus, mostly racing Corsas, because around Cardiff the Corsa is the fastest car around (in people's heads). Saw 3 new style Outbacks and a new forester. Not one acknowledged me though I did try. Scenery was nice though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. To be fair, I'm 6'3 and 18st, and with a foot and a half long metal maglight weighing over a kilo in my hand. I think if anything had of come of it it wouldn't have likely gone in his favour. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I photographed him and his car, plus he's in the dash can as we drove in. I was all for getting the big 4D battery Mag light out of the boot and going to have a "quick word". But the wife was freaking out and just wanted to leave. The dog is a spaniel they aren't aggressive at all so he wouldn't do anything. I'm iff up there tonight in my car see if he's there, I might have. a word if he is[emoji48] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. In still here. Wife has my car today so I'm at home, she's taken mine after some creep followed us as we walked around a local nature reserve he kept ducking in and out if bushes in a really crap attempt I stay hidden. It was almost cartoon like, only real so we called the police. Anyway she didn't want to drive her car as that's the one we were in at the time. Hence I have no car today. But off to South Wales in it tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    world cup !

I don't think all footballers are like that, there are some who I would say are actually decent role models for kids, Rooney is just a thug with a Bentley. I just think if you're in that sort of position you should and I think have to, set yourself up as a role model to today's youth, don't see Hamilton or button grabbing prozzers, getting into bar brawls. Yet football players are held in higher regard by children than F1 drivers so they should present themselves as that role model. My other problem with Rooney is just that he has one of those faces you want to punch, it's nothing personal, he just does [emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    world cup !

Yeah, it's not rooney's football I got issue with to be honest. He could be the best player in the universe a racing driver, whatever, it wouldn't matter ,he's still a thick arrogant nob with a taste for granny prostitutes. A perfect role model to today's youth [emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. He's got hearing protection on whilst using a noisy saw, seriously, some people want the world on a stick [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    world cup !

No I don't like football either, but I have the solution for Rooney I have the perfect player, he's young, he's real fit, a stunning player, better looking, more hair and certainly more intelligent. this is him practicing today
  18. I've seen that one before, it's one if their better ads. But they don't show it anyone I like the dog ads they do. Mainly because my nickname is dog, I own a dog and I own a scoob so why wouldn't I like a Subaru advert with dogs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I'm definitely more of the Steve Hughes way if thinking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. There's 2 things I've learnt in this industry 1, the problem with common sense is it's not actually that common 2, never underestimate the ability of an individual to turn anything to ratsh1t in 30seconds Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Lol, I've been doing this for years, qualified to the hilt and chartered yet I still get people arguing stupidity. Only today I pulled into a carpark on a site and it had a reverse parking policy to stop people getting run over, the only space left I couldn't reverse into because I couldn't turn the car around, so I went in forwards, some jobs worth made me go back out, reverse my car out and about 50m down the car park, turn around and reverse it 50m back up so that've could reverse into the space, when I tried to explain that what he was making me so was far more risk than just leaving it there he said, and I quote, "can't mate its policy". What a nob Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. The law wasn't really designed for household substances, more for the proper hazardous stuff, it doesn't unfortunately differentiate. I've spent years looking at this and sadly most people don't do pragmatic or common sense. I work on the bigger the risk the tighter the controls. Picking up 1000t with a crane big risk lots if controls, using wd40 less needed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. As promised here are the vid clips I mentioned earlier - which one are you? Chopper Ried does workplace safety - contains swearing! Steve Hughes on Health & safety
  24. I'll bring my little engineer [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I had an arguements with a jobs worth "safety professional" who tried to tell me that the law requires you to assess ALL risks. So I asked him where he'd assessed the risk of a polar bear attacking his workforce. He said I was being stupid but it's a risk however slim. Those are the sort of people that cause the problem. Unfortunately law does actually require a COSHH assessment for anything used at work that has one of those orange diamond symbols on it, that includes wd40, not saying I agree with it for basic substances but it is the law Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
