That's what it is with me, I don't run around proclaiming to be straight and over egging my straightness, I just am how I am. I don't see why a lot of !Removed! people have to be so in your face with their sexual orientation. I knew someone who walked around in leather gear, chaos hat the lot bare chested often in the street with his leather cap on. When I asked why he dressed like that he said because I'm !Removed! and proud. All I said was he was isolating himself and making himself different which would always cause a negative reaction from those that aren't comfortable with it. He got beaten up eventually, sadly it was inevitable. As you say, I'll treat you how you treat me. Everyone I meet has my respect from the outset, you don't have to earn it. I did once and I hit a cyclist. He was on my side of the road swerved out straight into me. Landed on the bonnet then started giving me lip. Luckily a copper saw it all and he had to cough up to my company for the damage. The way the ad should have been done is if you hit me at 20mph this is how badly injured I'd be, compared to if you hit me at 40. That's fair enough. But to used a timed event to demonstrate only allows you to say if you'd have been doing 70, you'd be right up here before the kid stepped out. The other one that annoys me is "think biker" here's a new one how about "biker think" the number of times I've nearly hit a biker because he's undertaking or squeezing between me and a vehicle m passing on the motorway. Motorists should take reasonable care I agree, but motorcyclists (and cyclists) need to take responsibility for not putting themselves in danger. A motorists can't judge the speed of a motorbike so don't be doing a ton up to junctions and then complaining because the car that was hundreds of yards away pulls out because he thinks you far enough away, and you would have been had you been doing 40 like you were supposed to. I had a similar argument with someone about that advert that used to say if the driver of this car has bed doing 30mph he would have stopped here. There already is a fastest lap thread fastest lap on the full top gear test track, in an Impreza 22B with no assists except braking line and has to be a clean Lap. I did a race on Forza that Gambit will no doubt moan about. Someone had finished the race and I was few car lengths behind steaming down the straight on Nurburgring. The timer was just running out as Gamibt braked for the corner I opened the throttle and crashed into the wall. Result Gambit 3rd me 2nd. I did laugh, I gave him the place he rightly deserved, but I did laugh, though not as much as I did when i nearly rear ended Gambit in my black transit! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
