  1. I have the out backs little brother the XV, that's basically the Impreza hatch on steroids. Subaru love their jacked up off-road cars, and so do I[emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Gambits been driving the pube van, gambits been driving the pube van! Lol I'm gonna paint you a pube van on forza [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Looks great, I think my clay bars and Meguiars stuff is coming out this weekend, got my tyre black all ready to go [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Oh well, it's got 5 years warranty so if it breaks it's not my problem, will probably have changed the car by then as need it for my work. Sounds nice though and it makes people look, I think they're surprised when they see it. I think they're expecting something a bit sportier [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. And you sounded so the expert in your last post, disappointed lol. [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Just out of curiosity, would you happen to know why my turbo diesel does it, it's standard? I'm assuming it's not got a dump valve and that's why? Not to clued up on turbos Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. We like shiny things [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I know it's shocking, and that was probably after you'd cleaned it. I'm doing mine and the wife's this weekend, if she'll let me. (Doing mine anyway [emoji3]). Hate to think what my cost will look like Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Not quite as loud as that though [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I hope not, my diesel turbo does it, sorry, you're probably cussing me now [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Going to see if I can get my wife a test drive in a new Forester while hers is in for repair, having driven her car it's almost certainly a split turbo hose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Go on, tell me you discussed Audis? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The XV's no race car, but it's an enjoyable drive and you feel like you're driving it, not then other way around. The latest civic is almost fly by wire, you press the brake pedal and it looks at how hard and how suddenly you pressed it and the car decides how to brake based in how it thinks you want to brake. That can be a bit alarming! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I looked at an integra a few years back but wasn't very practical for what I needed. Ended up getting a new civic type S diesel. Oddly at the time the type S was the fastest new civic they did, until they released the type r. The new type r though does nothing for me. Had 3 civics now including the latest version, (which is a crap car, not because it's crap, it's not, it's just soooo incredibly dull to drive). My wife has had 3 CRV, we moved over to Subaru because the cars had become boring to drive and the styling was becoming very American and a bit dubious. I also needed greater ground clearance after repeatedly hitting the underside of my car getting to sites I visit. I've gone more for offtoad capability over speed now, old age and all that[emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. No it's a Subaru XV 2.0D, spoke to the dealer they just said bring it in a week on Wednesday, so they're not too worried It's in warranty so if it blows the turbo it'll be their bill Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Wife not having a good week, first someone hits her car now when the turbo spools up the car starts juddering as though trying to stall, wondering if one if the turbo pipes has a split in it. Only does it in 4-6th gears and under heavy load such as accelerating up hill, oddly there are no warning lights? Looks like its in for a check up, at Least it's under warranty Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. How do! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Anything involving Audi bashing is a tick into book. Only thing better is Passat bashing. Or chav corsa baiting, that's always fun, especially if you're in an off-roader, my favourite pastime. I wrote a thread just for these people, it's in the junk room called "important information for Audi and BMW drivers" might inspire you to more Audi bashing, there's some interesting stuff in it Keep up the good work! 19. Spent an hour or so getting a 4' scuff out of my wife's car door because some crap for brains knob, can't drive, and then effed off without owning up to it. Fortunately it was just the lacquer coat so I've managed to get all shiny again with some polishing paste and elbow grease, plus earned some major brownie points from the wife for making her car look new again [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Been over a week now and i've not cleaned mine, just rinsed off the bird doodoo. Starting to get withdrawal symptoms. Might watch karate kid ease the craving......wax on, wax off aaaarrgghh!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I reckon its the same bird that had mine earlier, I've done some digging and solved the mystery, I saw on the BBC news website that scientists have discovered fossil remains of a giant seagull type bird about 6m across, I reckon they're not extinct but now have evolved and spend their time crapping on Subarus. 22. I need a shovel! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I drove my shiny car to the nearby shops as I drove along there was a bang on the roof that sounded like a football has landed on it. Not seeing anything I continued to the car park. When I got out there was the biggest dollup of bird excrement I've ever seen, seriously I thought pterodactyl were extinct. It hit so hard it actually splattered onto both roof rails on opposite sides of the car. I'm getting an automatic laser cannon! Going to have to clean it now [emoji13] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Ouch! I pay less for 12 months than you pay for 6! Admittedly I can't get to the post office as quick as you [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. A clean car is an sign of s person with self respect. Your car is a reflection of yourself. My car's always spotless, wouldn't have a dirty car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
