  1. Scoob is full of carpet again. Inside looks like there's been a sandstorm through it. Boxes tomorrow when furniture comes. Old story. "We need new carpets", agreed. "If we have new carpets the it'll make the sofas look tatty". Here we go, "if we have new carpets and sofas it'll make the other furniture look tatty too, I've seen some nice furniture in Next". Sigh! So were now replacing everything. I did try the "if we're replacing the carpets, sofas and furniture it'll make the TV and Xbox look old and tatty?" That didn't get me as far as I hoped [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Is agree with Bitman, you'll be looking mega bucks if it's a bonded windscreen. A larger stone with extra force would probably suffice. You only need a decent chip smack in front of the driver and it'll be a new windscreen. It could affect your premiums though so I'd check small print first Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Can't do mine because it's sunny hahaga[emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Doesn't sound like a bad price. Chips away charge £100 for decent sized stone chip Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Spent all day, loading up scoob with dismembered sofas and carpet rolls ready for new stuff. Currently sat in a carpet free living room on garden furniture. Not great but at least we still have a fridge and it's full of cider and lager [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. At my last recollection, England wasn't a hot country though [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. I bought a white car didn't I? [emoji22] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Just cleaned two XVs, no need to wax as it turns out as a quick buff with a Terry towel and it shined up lovely. Just need to black the tyres now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Looks nice [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah, I'd agree out of context that profile picture is a little odd. Mind I'm not sure in what context it wouldn't be [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Mines covered in bugs and crap so I've got next week off, I can feel a clay day coming [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Just done a round trip of 350 miles to South Wales saw loads of Subarus, mostly racing Corsas, because around Cardiff the Corsa is the fastest car around (in people's heads). Saw 3 new style Outbacks and a new forester. Not one acknowledged me though I did try. Scenery was nice though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. To be fair, I'm 6'3 and 18st, and with a foot and a half long metal maglight weighing over a kilo in my hand. I think if anything had of come of it it wouldn't have likely gone in his favour. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I photographed him and his car, plus he's in the dash can as we drove in. I was all for getting the big 4D battery Mag light out of the boot and going to have a "quick word". But the wife was freaking out and just wanted to leave. The dog is a spaniel they aren't aggressive at all so he wouldn't do anything. I'm iff up there tonight in my car see if he's there, I might have. a word if he is[emoji48] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. In still here. Wife has my car today so I'm at home, she's taken mine after some creep followed us as we walked around a local nature reserve he kept ducking in and out if bushes in a really crap attempt I stay hidden. It was almost cartoon like, only real so we called the police. Anyway she didn't want to drive her car as that's the one we were in at the time. Hence I have no car today. But off to South Wales in it tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I'll bring my little engineer [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Ha ha, I love predictive text, yes before anyone else says it my engineer was a midget [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I did car park meets too, but when I did it I had the smallest engineer there at 2.0l and 200bhp, we never did burnout a or any of that and often locals would come over to look at and talk about the cars. It's different now. Hey, how's about that, I said all that without having to say "when I were a lad . . . . " Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Well I'm off out for a drive to Chester, for work but it's a sunny day so will take the scenic route over the M6 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I have an XV which is the Ourback's baby brother, they fit Yokohama Geolandars and they're pretty good in mud, gravel and snow. They're called an all season tyre but it's basically what used to be a town and country tyre. You should be ok on a bit if mud, not necessarily bog snorkelling though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. It's got to this level? I actually have no response to that . . . Bon Jovi[emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. You could always take a couple of inches off the baby so it fits[emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. When I first saw that bottom photo, I thought you'd been in a wreck. That's a pretty serious demo job Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Haven't moved mine since Saturday, but next 2 days are going to be sunny and I'm off work do that should change [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
