  1. What year is it mate....regardless, you have what is commonly know as a wagon
  2. 55 miles mate over the tops...such a great drive; took about 90 minutes
  3. Definitely worth the trip, loads and loads there. Big local foods section and lots of outdoor type shops and stalls. Lots of dog showing and horse and trap events. Just close your ears to the hooray Henry set and you'll be fine. Parking was well organised and safe, to be fair mate
  4. I reckon I get about 90 miles for my £20.....3 litre flat 6 petrol auto
  5. I thought you weren't going mate. We had a good 3 hours there earlier today. Very busy and the queuing for tickets to get in was chaotic at best. They have 1 window set aside for subaru tickets, yet only 1 queue [emoji54] Once you've got tkts and wristbands, the subaru tent thing is at the far end just behind the Isuzu cars and stand...free hot drinks and pastries with the wristbands. The subaru cars are not far from there.... The other end of the ridge above one of the show grounds. Got xv's, foresters and an outback there. Enjoyed it a lot, especially for free [emoji41] Be interesting if it rains though, like you say, with parking on a sloping field. Not muddy today, but you could tell it had rained yesterday. Saw a few other scoobs parked....shark eye hatch and another outback come to mind
  6. Yeah, it doesn't look great for Sunday. Think our plan is to go early, as SWMBO needs to be back in Durham for 3.30pm for her social do
  7. I think your last point sums it up well - just make sure you get an invoice which details everything they do, item by item. You may well need that info for future
  8. Yeah, sounds suspiciously like your DPF may be clogged mate - what they are effectively asking you to do is a 'forced regeneration' - it needs high engine revs for that length of time to generate the heat required. Get back there and tell them you want the DPF filter changed under warranty
  9. That should do it mate [emoji106] Wade in!......
  10. Having seen the forecast this morning, SWMBO has suggested going early doors on Saturday now
  11. Hehe probably [emoji15]
  12. Sounds a bit flash, that [emoji41]
  13. Lol you just want to look flash [emoji41]
  14. They seem to just beep when they feel like it. There's a light system mounted in the boot too, green to red, I assume to countdown the distance to objects, but that too seems to have a life of its own
  15. Think I've got after market rear sensors on mine and don't trust them to be honest...beep when chuff all is behind me [emoji32]
  16. It seems quite good...thick end of 10m I'd say, and that's without having to go under the drivers side carpet. Going to have to buy a rear bumper protector though at circa £95 [emoji54]
  17. Got the joys of musical theatre to endure this afternoon for the sake of family happiness..... ....my compensation, a quick turn and burn to Newcastle and back in the Outback :D
  18. you should reverse him into a wall mate; see how he likes that! ;)
  19. They are 2 good looking cars :D
  20. I'm the same as you mate - just heard these stories about the diesel engines having issues, and that when issues do crop up, they tend to be very very costly to fix. No real detail I'm afraid, but more than one used car dealer who specialised in main dealer Subaru part-ex's told me they hadn't quite got the boxer diesel engine right yet and he tended to turn down opportunities to take them from their arranged dealer. That was enough for me not to consider them to be honest. This information was offered up to me on more than one occasion. I've had diesels of other marques before in years gone by, and had DPF issues too, so that has kind of put me off them anyway. I wasn't even someone who just pottered around town, but still the DPF would need a forced regeneration every few weeks. Driving needlessly at high revs for up to 30 mins kind of defeated the gains of increased mpg somewhat. All this has led me to be a happy petrolhead :) Hope that helps in some way......good luck with your search
  21. I think I'd be insisting on being present while it was done mate, assuming someone has time for that. Wucking fanker [emoji35]
  22. It'll give you better mpg than a 2.5T Foz mate [emoji6]
