Does anyone know how to turn this damn annoying chime off, 55 plate blob (hawk interior) I had a go again tonight to no avail using some other forums advice o 20 clicks on off all that jazz
Light was on for about the last 30/40 miles, my light comes on when the needle touches the empty mark, I will let you know how much it takes to fill it as I know the tanks 60 litres, wonder how much fits up the pipe
For those of you that saw my last post i made it back to camp, 360 miles on the tank though according to the fuel gauge im in debt to the car as its sat below empty lol
Used it on my friends supra i did one in circular motion and it came up brilliant. He did it in straight lines and they etched in lol. Another thing is you'll find the dulling has come from the inside of the lens so its a split job
When my mates 200 was doing the dodgy limiter and idle thing it was a signal wire from the MAF had rubbed and was earthing itself giving dodgy readings. Just another thought
Brake fade after my usual stint back to camp. Though it is about the length of the ring and very fast roads with hard braking no wonder i nearly didnt turn into camp lol. Need to look at getting some higher temp pads
He's part of a regional owners club. He was Outside cleaning the rust off his discs today all in preparation, and then I pull into camp covered in mud from playing today, chalk and cheese

Will check on that but the way mine goes it can't be on anything less than standard boost (mates scoob ids and other jap cars lol) I just like to absorb info like a sponge

No knocks and replaced brakes recently, after a play today I found it happens when struggling for grip ie hard launches with a bit of turn on. The grinding noise (not so much of a knock) seems to come through the steering wheel so I'm thinking rack or diff now :( and just as I decided to keep it and sell the Astra. !Removed! Murphy I hate him and his law

Sorry stants I'll be down south mon to fri for next few weeks but if anything comes up on the weekend I'll try and be there. Today I spent a few hours wiring in gauges before realising the mount I had didn't fit so then fitted a sub I've had in the garage for the last few years. Bit of bass was fun but I think the amps had it as it started harmonising to the idle of the engine. Think modern car with engine sound through the speakers haha

Swapped front callipers discs and pads, no more sticking yay! Spent a couple of hours wiring in gauges to find i couldn't fit them in the "single din" slot left over by my new head unit which i also did today lol
Ive had mine a while and played with it at different settings. Turbosmart recommend stiffer for hard driving and softer for normal as it keeps it nice and smooth on changes. The most important thing is its not too soft and causes a vacuum leak on idle after that its personal preference really. The compressor surge may happen in low revs but as long as its not full boost i wouldn't worry.
And don't forget to unscrew it all the way every few months and make sure the pistons clean and slightly lubed if it starts sticking you may as well have a blanking plate fitted
