  1. mines better :P
  2. or intermediate pipe as it says in the above diagram, not much in gains to be had but should change the note and volume quite a bit
  3. It says Decat but to me just looks like the mid pipe after the 2nd cat
  4. Wish i could mate I've been waiting for a flight for a week now going stir crazy here didn't even bring my exhaust with me to fit what a waste of a week
  5. Resistor Link ------> this found it in that intercooler cover thread from a while ago, knew it would be a derailed thread
  6. It was a thread steal as usual lol so prob wont be anything originally to do with exhausts. Maybe a new member post lol
  7. Mine is towards the bottom but header is always full, when you say dirty what does it look like?
  8. haha thats nice to know, and *cough* de-tangoed and sprayed ;) I can assure you it was no where near that clean when I finally got it home
  9. By the looks of things mine hadn't seen anything other than tarmac until i got in and thought Yes, I am Colin Mcrae B) and went and found every bit of legal off road I could in my area
  10. It was me you posted that resistor for but couldn't for the life of me find it. Not that it matters now anyway
  11. A little progress following my Scooby. Never done a thread like this before but with the Scooby I'm hoping I will actually have something to show at some point. It's not going to be updated that often as I spend a lot of time away and don't get as much chance to play with it as I really would like, but hey it pays the bills So anyway a few pics of when I first picked it up in january this year It has a Ninja 2 back box, turbo smart dump valve fog covers and tints, still pretty standard. First thing I wanted to do was tint the rear window as for some reason the back 2 sides were already done. Maybe the last owner wanted to be able to see when he was reversing at night ;) If I ever get them redone I will have them Lighter so its not so much of a Limo/drug dealer look the astra in the background is my trusty workhorse btw First job on the list was the headlights, imo they looked a bit weedy. It's hard to explain but I didn't get along with them. So for the huge sum of £10 I purchased the supplies to go from this to this If anyones interested and wants a write up let me know but basically it involves sticking them in the oven pulling them apart painting them putting them back together. I fitted some chromed indicator bulbs so there is now no orange at all. In the future I have thought about completely changing the layout of the lights just to be different but will have to wait and see and get my fire extinguisher topped up first. B) Waiting to be fitted is a turbo back double decat de res centre with 3 different backboxes to choose from so I can get the sound just right Future plans are STI Rear Wing Front Winglets Front splitter Alloys Current alloys to be powder coated dark grey/charcoal and used as winter wheels Head unit Power mods to sub 300bhp Be gentle...
  12. you got a link of which one? Sounding like it might not be the right pipe
  13. In that case mines still probably caked in the same places yours was
  14. Because they are devils spawn and want to watch the world burn! I imagine the 2.0 turbo petrol full time awd has something to do with it and emission laws/regulations. The newage have 3 one in the up-pipe before the turbo. Always fancied getting rid of this as the idea of it breaking up and destroying my turbo gives me shivers though I've not heard of that with the scoobys more so MR2s. I know they were put there to help catalyse when the engine is cold running My old vxr had 2 and in comparison I'm surprised the Scooby doesn't have 4 lol
  15. just for reference Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. What am I saying just go balls out double decat and deres centre section, it's what I've got waiting for me when I get home, then 3 different backboxes to try with it so I get the perfect sound can't wait Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Maybe it's hard to say as I don't know how restrictive that cat is, usually a lot of placebo with these things. They help towards a remap but on their own more sound difference over anything else. Let us know how it goes Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Not as much as I thought didn't really try too hard as the carpenters were in next door and didn't want any complaints lol. Can't believe my mate sold his hks mushroom filter as well said no one was interested when he sold it now everyone is. I was like dude ffs I only just got the car! His fault I blame him Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. No problem mate we're a friendly bunch (majority of us northern) *runs for cover* Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. I learnt that lesson when I pulled out of my mates drive down a hill pedal to the floor oh ****, so went all the way to the roundabout at the bottom so I didn't have to burnout my handbrake lol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. I am mate got a white Yammy yzfr125 beautiful little bike did my theory end of last year will be getting on with test as soon as I'm back from Kenya. Love bikes, it's always a toss up between scooby and two wheels. My poor astra must feel so neglected! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. When I was looking into these I found there's 3 different types depending on your wheels. 60' taper, radius and flat. So you can always get the right ones so don't despair Pete Edited, not sure what type you would need but they exist somewhere, struggling like hell to find the ones I had seen on ebay Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. If it's replacing a cat with a resonator it probably won't be any louder Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Thought I'd seen this car before, I've been to get geared a few times Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. Excellent new thanks for the reply, I'm away to Kenya for a few weeks so will be getting bumped up my priorities list as soon as i get back & can afford it
