  1. Can these be taken off with a standard wrench? Look longer than standard wheel nuts...
  2. Fitted new wiper blades... that wonderful feeling of having blades that don't make a sound and are streak free... it's the simple things
  3. No worries! I'm considering getting a set for my car as well!
  4. Drop down list allows you to select 08 onwards... Can't say I can recommend it but I would imagine for the price it would be good quality. http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=181&products_id=1300&osCsid=fd8rjspa04ggjcupqa7nt7toi2
  5. Dunno what constitutes "doesn't cost the earth" but i think the sets that scooby world do are pretty reasonable: http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=203&products_id=97
  6. I'm amazed it lasted 5000 miles with no oil!! Can't possibly comment on how long it will last but I would imagine running the gears with no lubrication will significantly increase wear on them...
  7. I would put the original valve back on just to test... at least rule it out for sure and should only take a few minutes to swap over. Does it only happen when on boost? Possible failing fuel pump? I'm not overly clued on here as much as a lot of other people :D
  8. My first inclination was a VTA dump valve as they can (but not always) cause hesitation after a gear change due to all the air that would normally be recirculated getting vented instead. Do you have the standard recirc valve you can put back on to test?
  9. What modifications does the car have?
  10. Welcome! Goot to see another Scot on here!! :D
  11. Not done it as of yet, but my up-pipe that I bought of Ash arrived... bargain price for an unused part! Now just need to save up some cash so I can get the part fitted then get the car remapped :D
  12. Excellent.. thanks for the replies guys, means I can save myself a few quid at least!
  13. So me and my brother fitted my new centre pipe yesterday, neither of us are experts but we can manage little jobs that are simple bolt off/on jobs... While we were under my car, noticed that my rear anti-roll bar was pretty corroded so was thinking about replacing it, is this an easy enough for me to do myself? Is it just a case of a few bolts? Alos, what is the difference... looking on scoobyworld presents several variations in thickness and shape from the looks of it... Can anyone be so kind as to explain the different types and what would be best to go for? This is what I'm looking at: http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=39_274_322_345
  14. New non-resonated centre pipe has been fitted and sounds excellent! Not as loud as I was expecting which is probably a good thing but def gives a more distinct burble and deeper note... overall, pleased :D Was a pain in the !Removed! to do tho... one of the old spring bolts was super stiff, so much so that we eventually just sheared it... much to our relief!!
  15. This is the one I have (LINK), very easy to use and doesn't stand out as an aftermarket head unit. Straight forward to install as well once you get the adapter for the wiring, I've hooked up a subwoofer to mine very easily as well.
  16. I think my next car will be the 2015 model... probably in a couple of years tho :D And welcome!!
  17. Looks like you've got the exact same exhaust as me :D
  18. I still have the OEM recirc on mine and I get the phhhssht noise but only coz I've removed the airbox resonator. Even still, a recirc will never be as loud as a VTA but it should help with the issues you are experiencing
  19. I've not driven my scoob in a few days and I miss it... driving the wifes car to work since it's a reasonable distance but god, a 70hp Yaris is a yawn-fest!
  20. I've got the gaskets and spring bolts so I'm ready to go... just need my brother to help me fit it!
  21. I would imagine it will... changing only my backbox released a lot of burbly goodness!
  22. Centre pipe received, looks great! Hoping to get it fitted beginning of next week! Cheers again!
  23. You would get noise if you removed the airbox resonator... that's what I did paired with a pipercross filter and you can def hear a difference, you can even hear the recirc dumping the air back into the air intake...
  24. That is a great pic of it! So cool!
  25. I love how in the sun the paint has gold speckles... much bling :D
