  4. hi guys n girls, thinking about changing the exhaust on my 08 wrx hatchback.been looking at either a Invidia N1 single can or dual cans,or a japspeed with quad pipes which is half price the Invidia systems, anyone got any these manufacturers on their cars,is the invidia systems really loud?its not the race its just says n1,they do the race as well, think I will end up going invidia n1 single can,any thoughts? pictures of actual systems Invidia single box Invidia twin box's japspeed quad pipes
  5. If my mrs ask's me then i say i bought it nothing, but really i have bought it a set prodrive alloys for after winter, some prosport gauges and a sti spoiler.dont tell her though she will get upset the car had more spent on it [emoji3] oh and the mrs bought it a xmas tree to go on the dash which when turned on at night lights up red so looks like a working girls office window [emoji3] [emoji53] Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk

  7. @Scoobyghost I am the same,i have been with same insurer for last 5 year basically because I don't like talking on the phone and thought wont be much difference in price, but decided to give it a try and Adrian flux came up a good couple hundred cheaper so for me was well worth it to change, makes me wonder how much I could have saved the last 5 year if I had shop't around.
  8. Got my insurance sorted today for another year.gone with adrian flux this time, much better price and all mods covered. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  9. Most people just think their like all other imprezas.with throtle body in middle of inlet manifold coming out the back.on the hatch wrx it uses same set up at a 07 forester xt the throtle body come out under inlet manifold and across to passenger side car.then intercooler sits straight on to turbo fastned with 2 bolts and a o ring.vf34 are ok for like bug blob n hawks, but would be a paint on a hatch unless he was fitting a front mount intercooler with custom pipe work, even then may have to make custom oil feed n stuff to fit,if he finds a vf52 from a 2.5 forester xt its a straight swap and his original intercooler will fit straight on to it,vf52 was also fitted to later wrx-s model in usa but not sure if it was fitted to uk version.its basiclly a vf39 but with a flange to bolt intercooler to it.the vf52 is a 320bhp rated turbo thats why i say mine is at its limit at minute, but allready have a plan for the summer to build engine and hit 400 like a guy i follow on youtube. 10. same setup as far as im aware? Not a straight fit then if they do.he wants one that bolts to intercooler.gets a vf34 or 35 it wont fit on intercooler with out moddin it n if he changes intercooler to sti intercooler it wont attach to throtal body as its in a diffrent place on a hatch wrx Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  11. if you can find one aye Dont vf34 n 35 attach to intercooler with silicone hose ? Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  12. No get a vf52 its a straight swap on the wrx Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  13. @Niko169 as @kershaw-330s says start with simple mods first, something like a cosworth panel filter or perrin, then look at exhausts, most people go with 3" piping on exhaust but 2.5" pipe is just as good and can cope with upto 350bhp with no problem I was told by cobra exhaust.you wont really see any power gains with the 2 mods until you have it remap't,i would think about upgrading fuel pump before a remap and do your research on who your going to let map it,dont just let anyone because they are close do it,as said a good 280 remap will be much better then a 300 bad remap, also if it done by a cowboy your just going get problems further down the road.you said the car has great servive history but I always give my cars a oil change as soon as I get them, good service history or not,use good oil and a genuine Subaru black oil filter, dont put crap supermarket fuel in it either, its not good for them, use shell vpower if theirs one near you,use crap oil and petrol then expect engine problems.i have just noticed your in Rotherham,if you fancy a drive I live in wombwell your welcome to drop by and give you some pointers.
  14. Lmao good for extra 100bhp to car that. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  15. On standard turbo and stuff your looking at about 270bhp after a remap with performance panel filter exhaust with sport cat if you did not want to decat the car and that would be resonable figure as not pushing engine.mine is at aboutits limit at 320bhp,but i dont mind if it blows give me a reson to build engine.and with right mids i no a guy who wrx runs 400bhp with a built engine.but as i allways say its a sport car.it can break on you in standard form or on max power,or it may never break at all,its pot luck with, them really.thing with the hatch is most things you have read about them breaking if you read it right is talking about the sti,sti had a lot more problems then the wrx or wrx-s models. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  16. Sti suffer ringland, wrx can suffer head gasket going.my first hatch suffered head gasket failure and it was standard apart from a exhaust.make sure its been look after good service history and regular oil changes. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  17. when she says it to me i think, wonder why she with me then must be the car

  20. Its only their temp till i decided what to do with my intercooler piping.but it drives no diffrent from the last filter that was down in the wing so sould be ok.but i dont have a undertray on car as did not have it on when bought car so getting extra air in with that till i can find one.thinking of going with a custom airbox am just designing it then i will be able to fab it up.will put a piture up when i get back on pc at home. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
