  1. ok I have overlooked. Widetrack is 5x114.3
  2. Your wheels type: Prodrive GC-07C Unfortunately the original wheel cap costs hell a lot of money. I don`t think it is worth it ( £100~) If I were you I would buy stickers for cheap...
  3. I would stay away from a car that had 8 owners. Must be a reason for that and it sounds a bit cheap for me. ( second warning light is on already for me ) Maybe I am too picky but be careful with rushing in something that you will regret later. Keep looking sooner or later you`ll find the right one. MOT history is just a thing and you won`t no about hidden bugs so for me is good to have that but does not count too much. Bring the car to a car mechanical and get it checked. The owner should not be afraid of this.
  4. Thanks for the info I'll have a look ;)
  5. I have Prodrive wheels so might worth it to get them done nicely. Thanks for the info ;)
  6. Yepp the old BUG ----> Hawkeye conversion. Good luck with that! If you can get a Xenon headlights go for them!
  7. This can be considered as well. It is called retrofit and this could be a solution between the full headlights change and basic HID conversion kit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHuDrd6tNUg It needs a little work but I am not afraid to getting my hands dirty if the outcome will be perfect ;)
  8. Ehhee :D BTW I need to refurbish my wheels :( The previous owner did a nasty work on them :( After I wrap them in Plastidip. That will do the trick. Could you recommend somebody to do the refurbish?
  9. If you can close it properly then it should not. I would test it if it is leaking or not. To be honest I hate sunroofs as I always have a problem with them. From my point of view they are useless and do what they're doing to you. And they'll leak eventually. Sooner or later :D But at least if it remains open there is a safety feature built in the Subaru`s so you can close it manually.
  10. No it is not normal and could be one of them that Gambit mentioned above or could be a track problem as well that a glass is sitting on.
  11. Hi all, I am thinking about to get this conversion done as I am not really satisfied with the factory provided high quality candle lights :D What do I need for this apart from the following?: JDM Xenon headlamps. I guess this exercise is not a plug and play one. Will the leveling work after this? Are there any proper other solution? Normal HID no thanx except it is built in a headlights body.
  12. Until you take it off ( not easy to pill ) or you kerb it down ;)
  13. Yes, I got used to it when I had a Nismo stage 3 SX200.
  14. We are using plastidip for other parts as well:
  15. You can`t be wrong with a turbocharged boxer engine ;) Stay away from Boxters get a 911 B)
  16. I only use MOTUL 300V. I would not spare on oil.(this is my opinion only, so no offense ) There is a saying in the Race club that I am a member of: If you fancy to have a unique monkey make sure you have enough banana to feed it :D
  17. As far as I know after 2006 it is above 400. ( It looks like he is after a 06 or 07 reg ) I did not refer classic as GC8. I did for the shape ( 4 doors )
  18. If you need more space I would go for the classic sedan shape. Good to know: The turbocharged boxer engine is a bit thirsty does not really matter if you drive with an egg under your gas pedal. Still drinks around 20-24mpg in urban. Needs good care. This car is not a truck. So if you want to be a good owner you should change the oil in every 3-4K miles Needs good oil too and ORIGINAL parts ( Motul or equivalent ) Tax is high above £400 but worth every penny These cars are so much fun to drive and live with. You can`t find nicer engine sound than that a Subaru boxer engine has ( in this price range )
  19. Front bushes will be changed next morning to Powerflex as well. HKS racing suction kit on its way with a Denso MAF sensor.
  20. front discs: 4 pot vented 294mm rear discs: 2 pot 245mm another variant for V4 STI: front discs: 4 pot vented 294mm rear discs: 2 pot266mm ps: you need to check this in a garage because sometime this can be vary based on the exact model such as V4 STI,EDM,JDM or V4 STI Type R etc... For example the JDM V4 STI Type R has rear 2 pot 290mm Vented
