  1. Welcome to the club! Are you having the forester imported?
  2. You can put me down for that [emoji5] [emoji106] I'll let the guys know.
  3. I use the same ones as in that video.
  4. I can see how it's a real sim. And it has got a lot of that right. Its the game functions that fail for me. Having said that I went online with a pal and actually had fun in real cars. Maybe I was hasty about the karts. The amount of bugs/issues I've had is not right though.
  5. Its happened enough times for me to notice it that bad. There's no choice but get barriered. The list just keeps growing for me [emoji20] I had such high expectations.
  6. Here's a new one. Holding full left on joystick and the steering wheel is full lock right until I release it and it resets. Me thinks a return under faulty is in order.
  7. Project cars is dark souls in racing format...
  8. My sound is horrible. For the amount of delays they had I'd expect a much more polished game. I can only imagine how bad it was back in November when it was originally meant to be released. I'm going to give it another go today and see how I get on. I get the feeling the reviews are positive because a lot of people want this game to be great. Almost lying to themselves.
  9. It comes across as ultra realistic. I've found 3rd person view is useless. Seems to drive a lot better in cockpit view.
  10. I am disappointed with it. Like you say they had a long time to make this and it doesn't make the grade. I have numerous issues with the menu system. Bright pink/red overlay makes the writing below so hard to see. No options inside a race to adjust the control set up. Even down to my first race I was disqualified for my car rolling and no idea how I managed it. This game does feel like a proper sim. I have a problem with sound too. It echo's/reverberates almost like visual lag but with engine and crash noise. Can you link that video for me please? I'll test the controls. I was lucky enough to have an old gift card so only paid £20 cash. I'll give it a little longer and allow it a steep learning curve. Took me easily 15 restarts to do first race without crashing so badly I got lapped. [emoji23]
  11. My first peeve...trying to swap the gear changes to for a style. Now it says not all buttons assigned and has locked me in the controller screen.
  12. I was watching a twitch feed and there's a fix for the control settings. I only know all dead zones need to be 0.
  13. My classic is mapped to 276, if I be nice on motorway and sit at 70 obviously I'd never sit at a steady 80 I get 28-30mpg. Spirited driving likely drops me to 23-25
  14. Surely the clamper is committing an offence by attaching the clamp in the first place?
  15. I looked at brocky but he was sat in menu Lol I'm still on the fence. Keep bouncing side to side.
  16. I'm watching a twitch stream on xb1. Got a game gift card so waiting for physical copy.
  17. How does it work with clamps?
  18. Its tough. It took us a bit of time to get the Kent meet going. Stick with it! [emoji106] [emoji5]
  19. Welcome to the club!
  20. I have Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's. Very good tyre imo. I am looking to asymmetric next time.
  21. The final countdown! The excitement is getting to be too much!![emoji13] [emoji13] [emoji13]
  22. Welcome to the club! Throw up some pics or feel free to start a build thread [emoji5]
  23. Aww not a problem mate! Hope to see you at the next one [emoji106] [emoji5]
