  1. Ha after watching this I think we all will
  2. That's beautiful. [emoji5] [emoji106] Sounds amazing.
  3. I'm hoping to attend this. Looks like a good day.
  4. I haven't had the time to do a proper update but here we go. So as you know I was booked in to Duncan on the 16th of April. I can't speak enough praise for Duncan. He greeted me straight away and he set about strapped my the car down. He put the 3 port solenoid on in a flash and as he was setting up I was bombarding him with questions and he was more than happy to answer. Hes got the patience of a saint since I was like a kid at Christmas. On the first run after fitting the 3 port she made 250hp all seemed well. Out came the laptop and Duncan went about making magic. Still answering all my questions in the mean time. Second run after now being remapped. I was in to video this one but the fan was far too noisy. I'll post the video anyway. She made 276bhp and 280ft-lb. When it was all done Duncan had a massive smile on his face and commented my car is running perfectly. I was dead chuffed hearing those comments. Especially for the old girl considering her mileage. The performance is astonishing. The gears come and go so quick and before you know it you'll be breaking the speed limit. [emoji15] I have found a slight boost cut in 4th between 5-6k rpm. Spoke to Duncan and he's offered to come to my house to tweak the boost a touch. I'm now running 1.3bar and the turbo comes in real early. I'm topped out on my turbo now so if I do want to break 300 I need a td05 of vf##. I don't have any more plans at the minute to go for extra power. I'm having far too much fun with this now [emoji2] [emoji2] I'm sure ive missed loads as you can see I'm still really excited about this all. I've finally got a well running impreza and it's tuned by me so I know what's what and where's where. Next on the list will be arb, drop links and bracing. I'm also going to pick up some better pads to keep on top of the power increase. Pics to follow.
  5. Hi, I can't offer you blue with gold wheels but if I was to have a chat with the group I may be able to arrange 5-6 imprezas to convoy for you.
  6. I've been watching it too. I'm a bit disappointed with all the delays but should be a good game at the end of it all.
  7. Send me a link to it or through me some info Karl. Sounds interesting and I'd love to pop down. [emoji5]
  8. Not a bad figure with subtle mods. Hope to see you both at our meets, likewise I'll be attending yours now I'll see when they are as I'm not on Facebook.
  9. Welcome to the club! That's a lovely looking car park. Have you had any mods done? [emoji5]
  10. I would do if I was on Facebook [emoji23]
  11. Nice one. I travel down to Medway for the convoy too so I'll see you there.
  12. Don't mind at all Karl. The more the merrier. There is a post on here about the meet with address and convoy times. I'll grab the link in a sec. One of our guys did post it up last night and says there was a fair bit of interest [emoji5] [emoji106] The classics looking good out on track. I was at srr last week for my remap and they do a top job down there. Edit: Heres the link: http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/index.php?/topic/13685-Kent-SOC-Monthly-meet-Saturday-2nd-May-7:30pm
  13. Welcome to the club! Hope to see you at the Kent monthly meet [emoji5] Cars are looking lovely. Have you done much track recently?
  14. Indiana Jones might have got away from the boulder but they never showed what happened after.
  15. I think it's more of while it's off May as well do it. Mine had no history of pump being done in 15 years and 160000 miles so for the sake of £30 I slapped one on. The one that was taken off was in really good condition so I agree they are bulletproof.
  16. I'll be meeting you down there again [emoji5] [emoji106]
  17. Thanks a lot Gambit. I was really chuffed with the last turnout and we've picked up a couple of new members so this one will be great. Any chance you can send me the facbook link please?
  18. After a fantastic first meet with the guys we've decided to stick with the first Saturday of each month and here we are coming up to the second Kent meet! The pub hosts a full bar and restaurant that serves hot and cold food with a good reputation for a nice dinner. Plenty of seating so feel free to bring along the family. There is a children's play area just outside too. Along with the rules the pub has given us I'd like to add a couple more. 1. Keep the car park tidy 2. Use the pubs facilities 3. No loud revving of engines inside the car park 4. No idiotic behaviour I'm sure we all know the basics and I'm sure we will adhere to them. Remember we want to keep this meet going for a long time. This month's meet is going to be held at 7:30pm as the evenings have been wonderful as of late. There are two convoys with one running from Medway tunnel and the other travelling from McDonald's in plumstead. Both convoys meet at bluewater where we usually split up and get lost in the car park. Once we finish playing cat and mouse, we all travel together to finish off at the pub. I'm hoping to have another outstanding meet with a couple of new faces set to arrive and familiar faces reinforcing the ranks I'm sure I won't be disappointed. The Wharf Cotton Lake Galleon Blvd Dartford Kent DA2 6QE
  19. If the lights dim it suggest the starter is drawing the power but not turning. I had the exact same issue on an old astra.
  20. Could be battery or starter motor starting to stick.
