  1. Would it be possible for a trial fit towards the weekend please? Should fit but always best to double check. I can pop down at a time suited to you. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  2. I used to live over there in thurrock 😄 Long time since I went to lakeside gp 😜 Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  3. Nice one. I'm not far from brands. We have a monthly meet in greenhithe just near blue water. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  4. Welcome to the club! Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  5. A power run is about £70 around me. You could get a run before fitting the turbo + parts. Duncan Graham is usually at surrey rolling road and does ecutek remaps + dyno for around £550 iirc.
  6. Mine smells like an old ladies cupboard at the minute. Def needs changing.
  7. They were from eBay. On offer at the time I picked them up. £70 for front and rear.
  8. Where are you located?
  9. Aztec performance had the 225mm for 170 last week when I looked.
  10. Welcome to the club Dan from South Wales. Have you done any work to the car?
  11. Your standard exedy blue box clutch will be sufficient. Can be had from 170-220
  12. Weight reduction and chassis mods for n/a. The 4WD is a cumbersome set up for a na engine plus the added weight compared to similar cars in the same bracket.
  13. It's always worth doing. What parts are you after? Importcarparts.co.uk are a good stocker of genuine Subaru parts
  14. Which part of Kent are you in?
  15. You thought right, what advice do you need? Anything in particular?
  16. Overboost? If mapped, sounds similar to what I had after mapping. Can be easily tweaked. Could have had parts fitted that allow it to overboost in which case it'll need a map
  17. Any garage should do a sniff test. It's quite simple but for anything further than that take it to a specialist
  18. The yellow capped tank is "overflow/expansion" and the metal lid is your header tank. Once the system is full and you're sure of no air locks, have the car running and watch the overflow. Make sure the header tank is closed. It shouldn't constantly bubble.
  19. The expansion tank? That should have a little pipe in it so the lid shouldn't need to pop off. If the pressure has got that high to pop the lid then I'd go straight for the sniff test. Does it bubble when running?
  20. Mechanically, first port of call would be full service. Oil, plugs, fuel filter, cambelt, tensioners.
  21. Ask for the applied model code. Starts with GC8. You can use this to check if it is an sti. If he refuses to help you double check anything then there is something to hide and you're likely better off turning your back and walking away.
  22. You'll lose power if you go UEL. With zorst and maps you don't need to map with centre or rear box changed. If you change the downpipe or cats whether decat or sports cat it will need a map also pre turbo changes need to be mapped.
  23. You shouldn't need a remap just for an exhaust swap. Is it right hatchs have equal length manifolds? To get the burble you will need an unequal length manifold and that would need mapping in.
  24. Ah OK, I read it wrong. Can you trade where it was leaking from? As stants said, radiators seem to be a weak spot on these.
