Ha ha nice. Because it's a classic you can do a self code check to see if the ecu has logged any error codes. Doesn't need to go to a garage and pay £60+ for some chap to do it. There is a guide in the forum explain how to do it and it shows all the error codes if you do have any stored. For your issue first thoughts would be spark plugs, coils, boost solenoid or even a possible air leak. What mods does it have and has it been mapped?

Decats the way forward. It can come with issues. You'll fail mots on emissions. You can also end up with running issues from overboost to rich running and eventually bore wash. A remap will sort out the overboost and fuelling. A friendly mot tester will solve your emissions problem.

How old are you? What insurance do you pay for the ST?

Might pop to a dealer to test some tints first then. Been a while since I've had tints. Going from clear windows to limo tint might seem a big step but something to get used to again.

I'm about to get my rear windows tinted and wondered what people think is a good level of tint. I've had 5% before and that was a bit much. Took a long time to get used to. It's my daily car and family transport so I usually have two kiddies in the back. I'd like them to be able to see but also have it dark enough that seeing in is difficult. Any ideas or examples?

Once again an apology for not posting last months meet. We had our baby on 1st June so I'm sure you can imagine it was hectic and a few sleepless nights. This Saturday we will be meeting at the wharf for our monthly meet. It will start at 7pm. As always a few ground rules. Don't act like a clown. We have permission to hold our meets at the wharf from management and it's only fair we are courteous and respectful. Don't leave any rubbish in the car park. Feel free to bring the family. Turbo 2000s are mappable but it depends on the year if your car to what route you have to take to map it. A decat will need to be mapped in bit the centre and rear section alone would be fine. Do you have any proof of it being mapped? Can you check what boost it's running?

How old are the spark plugs? What code are the plugs? Have the coil pack/leads been checked and tested?
