K seal is no good for what you want. It's meant to seal small holes but I wouldn't trust it as it could clog up other parts that don't need blocking.

Can you get a second opinion on the sniff test? Do think it's hg related.

Bottom rad cold and no cabin heat is air lock which could easily be caused by head letting exhaust gases in.
