  1. Couldn't agree more [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Quick update - pulled the BOV and a few pipes last weekend to find them dry as a bone, even inside the inter cooler which had a pool of oil before. Well impressed with the improvement, so seems to be well worth doing. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Michelin Alpin - fantastic but expensive Nokians - after last year I'm impressed with and much cheaper than Michelin. With 4 wheel drive I've got more than enough grip/stopping with them on :-) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. I bought Nokians last year and they were great, previously used Michelin Alpin and they were fantastic but expensive. Nokians still near enough as new so another couple of seasons left in them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Out of interest was that from Cobra direct? Considering buying one from them at the moment. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Don't like it myself, but hey why the hell not :-) trust the yanks to try something different.... Hope they beefed up the structural rigidity (or whatever you call it) when they lopped off the roof :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yep, we have a Audi/Lamborghini/Bentley tuning specialist next to work, I've never heard as loud exhaust systems as come out of their. The RS6 I've seen coming out of their a number of times has close to 1000 BHP I'm led to believe, whether that's true or not is a different story but !Removed! sounds like it does :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Same here, still considering getting it done before warranty expires.... Mmmmm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I've had two quotes of £225 and £240, so somewhere around those prices. The custom colour can sometimes make a difference and also the amount of repair work on the wheels. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Tried that with an RS6 the other night on motorway..... I may have been in reverse :-) :-) may have been a tuned RS6 to just disappear like it did. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yep, think I'll protect some things and keep water pressure real low :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. BTW another excellent place with some great reviews from other car clubs is Wheelrite. Had a chat with Steve the owner last week and will be getting mine in when I get back from hols. Only downside is he's very popular so sometimes there is a wait to get them done. Gave me some great recommendation on colour for mine and even sent me some pictures through. 13. Tried this on my brothers car in preparation for him selling and looked real good, so once I'm back from hols my car will be next.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Just thought of one thing I've had problems in the past with and that's whether the pads are glazed (think that's the term) and may be try giving them a bit of a thrashing or more accurately a number of hard stops in succession? I know if you don't bed in some of the more expensive pads right this kind of thing can happen, just not sure if it's for all pads. Just a thought and something easy to try. Just be careful if you start getting brake fade, pick you roads wisely :-) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah, MPG discussions on WRX/STI are all very tongue in cheek for me. But I guess it's good to know and a good challenge [emoji12] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Welcome [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. Swap the pads [emoji6] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Tesco Petrol Station at Prestwich via M62 to Trafford Centre at peak commute time yesterday [emoji39] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. So taking this a little with a pinch of salt as it was just over 8 miles.... :-)..... But beat that :-) :-) :-) Who needs a diesel oil burner when you have an STI :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Did you protect any of the electrics before her washing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Colin Appleyards use Shell Helix Ultra at all their Subaru dealers. Just FYI [emoji2] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Good luck with the show tomorrow, hope the weathers good for you guys [emoji2] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. [emoji1] yeah you guys had a nice full stand, bit more welcoming :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
