  3. Hi all, My lad has joined a band and has just done his first ever gig - suffice it to say they are all buzzing and they have been asked back to perform at the same venue again. They have also set up a facebook page and are looking for some attention So if you would 'like' the page it would mean a lot to them cheers in advance Jay https://www.facebook.com/The-Contradictions-1492095171086671/?ref=profile
  4. I no experience with the 1.5 gearbox but as an interim approach try a gearbox service with an appropriate additive - molyslip type thing, it has been mentioned in another thread but I cannot remember the brand recommended - however Oilman / opie oils on here would be able to give a recommendation and we get a discount

  12. Agree with above - its fine joining the forum to sell your motor but give yourself a decent chance get some photos up, what is the mileage etc check out some of the other sales links for ideas on how to present your motor.
  13. Hey - great to hear it chum - I have not driven a classic but I have driven a Hawkeye and the 400bhp in black would be a big plus but the only way you can be sure is take it out - I dont know as you will find the steering as sharp you may need to investigate a quicker steering rack?? either way keep us posted :)
  14. I would be interested in some runs and this auto 'pack' that was mentioned in the leggy section would mean a trip oop north but would be great to meet up with some of the other members also
  15. mate of mine uses it on his 1934 MG "Little Beauty" to avoid the water rusting the panels - it works well but you can imagine it does not get absolutely caked in mud - he does go off road though as a lot of the shows he attends are in fields so its not a trailer queen
