  1. Wotcha and welcome Own intro thread created :) - will potentially generate more responses. Check out this thread for ideas - some choice mods completed http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/15637-sparkys-2015-sti-build/
  2. They supply everything at the Ron Haslam school so you can turn up and ride if you want.
  3. I have a link on my pc for invidia systems that covers more than just the wrx. Looked at one for my NA hatch, you are looking at the thick end of 1k though for a full system and back box think that included a sports cat as well though cant remember. Ill dig it out when i get back
  4. You may see some gains anyway with a map as it will be removing any generic factory settings and having it tailored to your motor some see improved drive ability and fuel consumption
  5. Wotcha and welcome - do love a hatch me - although as Tidgy has mentioned it is not a Cossie Ltd edition - thats not to say it may have some cosworth goodies added by previous owner. Still a great car in its own right though :)
  6. Nice one - does indeed look like I can fit them from the back no problem - not heard of magentism either - hence use of sticky tape in vid :D
  7. Had a quick look through the gallery cant find anything there - where is it located?
  8. Have had a look on the site and the kit for my hatch appears to differ to yours for the later saloon so ill get some ordered (might have to wait until the fat alchoholic with a mince pie addiction has been and gone) ☺ then pull the bumper off and get some photos taken.
  9. Wotcha and welcome - we have an impreza buyers guide as a sticky, on tapatalk at the moment so I have no chance of finding it ☺ but im someone will be along shortly to point you in right direction. But with the hatch weak points are front top mounts rear arches have a lip in side that collects crud, paint on jnterior door trim is thin so can chip easily so use that to knock price down but it is an easy fix to take out and respray. Original exhaust is mild steel so check if that needs doing. Check for even tyre wear and budget for a 4 wheel alignment check for peace of mind £65. Keep us posted as to progress and feel free to get stuck in - all friendly on here
  10. Try uploading them to Photobucket and posting links as then you can show off your motor with big hi res images? Are you looking at a different scooby?
  11. Wotcha and welcome Mark. With the sport model you are limited with choices as spending large sums of money wont necessarily make it faster - here is advice to another member asking the same - bottom line it is more about improving power to weight ratio's on the sport. You have a NA car so the power gains you will get from engine tweaking will be minimal so get it running spot on - panel filter and exhaust, good service - oil plugs etc. keep it on vpower or the like as you can definitely tell a difference in my NA motor. Possibly look at remap to match flow to engine fuelling (A car running tip top has better emmisions and if it is running as it should be will be running at its optimum efficiency) Then look at power to weight ratio - lose whatever weight you can from the car. (this also gives better fuel economy) Then look at chassis mods to improve stopping and turning (this improves the safety of the car)... as above chassis mods are the way forward, someone may have an advantage in a straight line but 9-10 times they cant corner so loose all there speed! Coilovers - anti roll bars - strut braces - proper geo set up - decent tires and lose some weight
  12. looking good - have bookmarked the link ;)
  13. Wotcha and welcome - there are a fair few members from Scotland on the forum - checkout the footage from the annual highland run
  14. Not this time unfortunately
  15. Been seeing these on FB - some cracking shots - has a real eye for the direction Just throw that in there ;) Ha Ha - awesome - was able to do some lawn mower activity with these this year - great days and would recommend RHRS to anyone even novices - the instructors are spot on But the best part was filming the boy going down craner curves for the first time breaking his tarmac duck - only done mx before - bit of grit got in my eye - ahem sniff One the 600 The boy on a 300 On the 1000 Good times :P
  16. Wotcha and welcome - that looks very tidy for a winter hack
