  4. Wotcha and welcome - feel free to get stuck in - any mods planned / personalisation changes?
  5. Looks like ill be saving for a beefier unit - sounds likd the MAC wont cut it
  6. Wotcha and welcome - sounds interesting - my lad wants to get into car / bike design so will be following your posts and feeding them into him :) Also completely agree - thought the concept was compromised somewhat when it came to general production
  7. Jay762 replied to coll's topic in General Subaru Chat
Wotcha - Gambit will be along shortly with a recommendation - he has a good supplier
  8. Probably not what you want to hear but a point to consider is your fuel pump. I would budget for an upgrade \ replacement if your unit is the original. All this extra demand may test it leaving you running lean. Check out the rcm options as recently wahlbro have had some negative feedback
  9. Wotcha and welcome!!
  10. Wotcha and welcome - agree think there must be some mods missing from the list, exhaust, filter and map would get you to around 330 on a 2.5l
  11. Wotcha and welcome - shame your initial experience is not good :(
  12. PIAA every time for me - expensive but view is so much clearer over standard
  13. If I had the cash - I would get this for my lads first motor - he could spend the next year getting to know about maintenance etc.
  14. ARK exhaust note
  15. all the cool rides come with a tape deck - have you not seen Guardians of the Galaxy - ooooh yeah ;)
  16. Wotcha and welcome!!
  17. Wotcha and welcome!!
  18. I can see this being a magazine feature :)
  19. Yup we are looking at the justy option also and possible mods just to sort the really soft suspension etc
  20. Haven't yet - still researching but why not start with the specialist ads in the back of Banzai or JAP performance mag - being a member of a forum helps ;)
  21. Wotcha and welcome - currently going through exactly the same exercise with my 15yr old - Insurance is the issue - anything with a turbo will just be a no point exercise. What we have found is the later sharkeye hatch 1.5r is either a 4 or 14 group dependant on who you are talking to so smaller engine UK model etc means you may be closer to getting cover at 17. Only problem is at this point you are looking at about 4k for one but I imagine in 2 years time that may have dropped a little. So between now and then spend teh time on the phone with brokers - online stuff will give you a start but a specialist is where you are likely to get something in place
  22. love a hatch me ;) front splitter sign up http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/14302-hatch-saloon-2008-2012-carbenfibre-front-splitter-commission/ Some modification ideas http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/14125-gminsites-wrx-hatch/
  23. its not just yours mine is like that also - will keep you all posted as to when funds allow progress - have found a rolling road local to me so just got to sort a day and an appropriate tuner / investigate this 'package' mentioned in the legacy thread
