  1. wotcha and welcome - if there is a consistent service history you should be fine with the mileage - we have many members on here with well over 100k clocked up
  2. best to use a hosting site like photobucket and then post the links
  3. Wotcha and welcome - good luck with the sale - more pictures may help but I think realistically you are looking at closer to 4K given what is for sale at the moment
  4. Wotcha and welcome - great looking blob!
  5. Wotcha and welcome - as you are looking this weekend I would suggest browsing the forum for the legacy buying conversations as members may not respond as fast for you for what you describe the legacy would be ideal - obviously the turbo will be more fun from a power perspective but the NA models still drive lovely - There have been some issues with the bearings failing on diesel models due to misalignment of drive shaft on assembly but the petrol models seem pretty robust
  6. It just continues to stagger me how daft some people are
  7. Nice one? Some healthy figures there
  8. Just watched the Blitzen one again - I agree a bonnet scoop would be a nice addition :)
  9. Wotcha and welcome - ideal family car and work horse for your part of the world looks tidy as well
  10. Now what would be interesting is before and after shots using that thermal imaging camera of Chris' in the other thread :) http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/12474-more-thermal-images-exhaust/
  11. oh dear my first upload from tapatalk appears to be a little overkill
  12. it is the headlight change that does it - check out Gambits paint job http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/12535-autoart-grimsby/
  13. OK this could get silly just found an Autoart Aston Martin V12 GT3 for the princely sum of £83 http://www.autoartcollection.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_23&products_id=1057&zenid=95fae93daadbf67ffde32d804e447b41 but should I go for the Maclaren F1 at £153 Im torn
  14. I havent owned a 64 plate Sti but I do use sintered pads on my bikes - the sintered pads do have pieces of metal in them so if teh standard pads on teh STi are sintered it may well give a grinding noise on use as it is metal on metal - trhe only thing is when I switched from OEM to sintered on my bikes I didnt notice a massive difference in noise but I did notice a difference in performance improvement. I know its a ball ache but I would suggest pulling the pads and if there is an anti squeal plate putting some copper slip on that and check the face of the pad itself Sintered pad example http://www.stdreams.com/catalog/sintered-front-brake-pi-12734.html http://www.volarmotorsport.com/Motorcycle-Brake-Pads.html some pad compound info http://www.onallcylinders.com/2012/04/19/how-to-choose-disc-brake-pads/
