Wotcha and welcome - sounds like a great idea for a project thread. there are many options dependant on budget - we get a discount for silicon hoses with Roose motorsport http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/2233-roose-motorsport-silicon-hose-discount-group-buy/ Mishimoto are getting some good press for quality gear http://www.mishimoto.co.uk/?gclid=CPHav8fnlMACFYofwwodHS0A8A We have Simon of Jolly Green Monster fame as a forum member for your mapping needs and you have loads of exhaust choice dependant on style and sound as well as performance, some options here http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=24_156&osCsid=3fa7a910568c3cea2d54825b455083e7

Wotcha and welcome - the wrx will be setup to handle the extra power so as long as you compensate with brakes and chassis improvements to cope you will be fine

Looking to buy help please Wrx sti 330s
The debate goes on - I contacted Subaru about the Type Uk when I was first buying mine due to all the different opinions, I was advised as Pete said it was a dealer STI fitted PPP upgrade and a model in its own right so insurance wasn't impacted as its a dealer car - This model is also referenced on the Subaru Impreza Wikipedia page Either way you are not getting a bad motor - the standard STI is easily upgraded, the 330s has all the good stuff plus some nice tweaks. Feedback I had from friends I let out in mine who had owned previous Imprezas was the steering was not as sharp, this has been sorted with the new Impreza but can be addressed with kits from people like Litchfield

newbie from deal/epsom
Wotcha and welcome. Induction kit is easy to fit as are exhausts. Being the GX I would suggest giving it a good service with new plugs and decent oil clean the injectors so you know its all running correctly then look at chassis mods to improve handling that way you can stop and turn more effectively. With a non turbo engine it will cost quite a bit to gain some power but overall pound per bhp increase is small - for power it is better to go with a turbo option from the start - get it running sweet and handling a bit sharper that will reap the full benefit of the drive train
