Hi - as standard your car should be 215/60R16 94H 16 x6.5jj, offset 48, bolt pattern 5 - PCD 100 Taken from this site http://www.cars101.com/subaru/tiresandwheels.html so check for alloys that have the same numbers, not the 16 inch though ;)

its great even with 245 width tyres on it had no problems earlier this year

well skoda put the cat amongst the pigeons with their diesel hot hatch a couple of years back so great handling with economy why not? :D

does sound like synchro issue and as you have done an oil change with no difference the oil treatments may not sort it out
