Following recent conversations in another thread I can confirm the dates and locations for the monthly meet. Sunday 5th July - Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth Sunday 2nd August - Goodwood, Chichester Sunday 6th September - West Meon Hut, Alton Sunday 4th October - Waterlooville (Location TBC) Sunday 1st November - Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth Sunday 6th December - Goodwood, Chichester All are welcome to come and join in! I did say there are loads of seagulls on one of the Portsdown sites but there are two more which are good.. plus the pictures would look epic with the skyline behind! West Meon Hut is where a lot of the local car clubs meet. Its a friendly pub with a huge car park. The road to it is an amazing A road with twists and turns. Waterlooville has a huge car park in an industrial estate but nothing major.

He means Southsea as in Southsea Hampshire :)

I decided not to bother on the exhaust for awhile as there isnt one on the market for me. The Invidia is going to be too loud and the rest just look like the OEM.

Why dont we do the following: 1st Meet - Portsdown 2nd Meet - Goodwood 3rd Meet - West Meon Hut, Petersfield/Alton 4th Meet - Waterlooville 5th Meet - Littlehampton 6th Meet - Portsdown ....... and so on

I have spoken to a few people and they get the better reviews mainly because they have the dust seals plus they come with fast road pads as standard whereas the K Sports dont come with pads. I will let you know buddy, but likely be July before they are fitted.

I was thinking arrange a regular day each month and then toggle the location so its fair for everyone as you and Dan cant always come down here. Lets say first Sunday of every month location TBA

I have found Portsdown Hill has become over ridden with Seagulls. Southsea front is always a good spot or failing that Waterlooville

Unfortuantly due to other commitments that have just turned up I am not going to be able to make it. The thread has been copied to a mate who is active in Hampshire Jap Cars and Zed Cars so you may get some more turning up. Sorry Guys!!

If we sort out camping and make a weekend of it then i am sure we could get more people! You can be the tour guide for the local establishments

One we have found has 142k on clock but appears to have been cared for and looks a steal for £2.6k. As this will only be used occasionaly I was thinking is it worth a punt

My wife is looking for a weekend toy seeing as I have the Impreza and the Imp and she is keen on a R53 Cooper S. Has anyone had experience with one? What should I be looking for and what are the common problems?? Her daily is a 2014 Ibiza FR edition which is 140ish bhp so she wants something as fun but a bit more powerful for the weekends and potential track use. Thanks Tim

I think Saturday is going to be a squeeze for me....I have an electrician coming at 09:00 which will take a few hours then I am out at 17:45 with the family. What times are you thinking??
