When I had mine fitter I only had it lowered 40mm. Anymore than that and it don't look right imo. Can't remember if I needed mine aligned as was ages ago but I would of thought so

On my mr2 I got away with just changing the shells. But most of the time you need to get the crank reground. You could do the shells yourself in all honesty it's not hard
