So looked at a couple of Wagons as Mrs does not seem to like Fozzy's 😠 Looked at a classic that had a rotten rear 😳 Looked at a late Blob that was rotten and had a very bad bottom end!! (blue 55 plate 145k on the clock Bucks) Decided as the Leggy is so good mechanically and solid I'm going to cost up respray + stock suspension. Fingers crossed 🤗 thinking £2-2.5k otherwise it's gonna be a pukka Blob WRX wagon in a few months.

New hoses rad fitted. Slightly less flesh on my hands. Enjoying the last couple of months before its up for sale

Drain it, be interesting to see what condition and how much oil is in it.

@stantsMrs is 15 weeks mate Gonna be a dad after 14 years since the last one. Need something abit more road comfy than the Leggy! Stock STI or 2.5 XTEN with aero kit, not sure yet which. No rush though just yet.

Welcome Jay! Its not uncommon for them to run rougher with an induction kit, mine does. It screws with the maf unless you have it mapped to suit. The general consensus is stick with the standard airbox and uprate the panel filter. You wont be disadvantaged doing it that way either, you just wont get the induction noise etc that an induction kit gives you.

The hose clips? I think they were new when I had the rad replaced. The hose itself looks generally good just one of those things I guess.

@Fastboy67 Gutted hope not too long a wait? New uprated silicone hoses now on the way from Japan so cruising in the Jag for a bit

So on the way home the top rad hose decides it wants to decorate the engine bay . Bodged it but off road until I source a new and hopefully uprated one!
