A decent remap will def sort out any sluggishness. Mine runs horrible on an induction filter. The noise might just be something you'll have to get used to

????????? not sure I can help with this one Tricky things sometimes, induction kits. Are you saying the engine is sluggish? The exhaust tone should be no different at all. The only difference should be in intake noise which may be distorting the overall tone your used to. You may find the BOV sounds different because now your getting a dump noise through your filter.

Im with stants. I had overly loud intake noise under boost and was because the hose clamp on turbo wasnt properly tight, so either that or a split possibly.

Leakage test might give you more info.

Give it a big cuddle and tell it you'll be back before it knows it. Seriously should be fine. Maybe leave in handbrake on light as needed. I don't leave cars in gear so not sure of that one. Give is a good hardshell wax maybe too.

Yeah but the £40 is now an investment and long term saving . In the last 2 weeks I have spent approx £200 on various car care items but it will last along time.......I !Removed! hope!

Be worth getting others opinions but it would be a def yes from me. This is a copy off a different thread that sums it up neatly. "Semi-synthetic is the basic choice, a good enough oil to give an okay level of protection. The full synthetic is a better lubricant that will give better protection to the engine. Even if the engine is standard, the better synthetic oil will provide more protection"

Get the semi out of it David and put some 5 40 or 10 40 full synthetic in.

Cosworth are good. I've used STI which is a lot more money but also the ramair which is around £15 cheaper than cosworth. All very good depending on your budget.
